Bakugo smirks as he walks back to his place in the crowd.
After everyone calms down from Katsuki's stupid outburst, Midnight speaks again.
"Welcome students!" she says, while smiling her usual flirtatious smile.
"I hope all of you are ready to try your very best, because we never said this was going to be easy."
You grin, determination spreading in your veins giving you goosebumps.
"The first game for our festival is an Obstacle Course!" You hear some of the kids around you cheer.
"All eleven classes will set out on 4 kilometer race on the outside of the stadium. We have set up obstacles for you to work through, giving you a greater challenge the farther you go. You may use your quirks however you wish, as long as you do not leave the stadium grounds."
It's silent as everyone waits for her to continue. She then reaches down to her belt and pulls out a small whip, raising it in the air, your eyes widen.
"GO!" she screams without warning.
You sprint off, your nerves making your body completely move on adrenaline. You glance over at Shoto who still had a cold stone expression on his face, and his hair was messily flowing in the wind.
The doors of the Stadium swing open, you were the 10th one out.
You sprint around the corner and start to pass everyone around you. You trained for years running miles upon miles with your mother, and now it was finally paying off.
You make it up to the front and was met by Bakugo, Todoroki, and Momo, all of them staring straight ahead not making a sound.
After running up a medium sized hill, you realize how compact the trails were getting and you finally understood what the first obstacle was.
You start to store bolts from the storm about 2 miles away into your body, and you smile as the feeling you loved so much comes rushing back. Your figure starts to give off a light glow and Todoroki looks at you, scowling. It seems as if he has figured it out too.
You sprint, trying to get a good enough lead that you could send your attack. But Katsuki and Todoroki weren't giving up. They followed close behind you, and you could hear their hard breathing.
"Where you going sweetie~" Todoroki cooed mockingly.
"Who the fuck you calling sweetie," Bakugo growled out, his voice raspy.
You let out a smug laugh as you finally reached enough energy to do another one of your special attacks.
You suddenly turn and open your palms to either side. You shoot one bolt to one tree and then another one to the opposite side. When these two bolts collide, they spin up together creating a thick heavy electric wall. This all happens in under 2 seconds, leaving many of the kids running into it crying out in pain.
You keep running, and finally start to calm yourself down. If you could get a big enough lead then you would be set for the rest of the race.
"DAMN YOU ICY-HOT!" you hear Katsuki yell.
A cold breeze smacks your back as you turn your head over you shoulder. You roll your eyes as you see Todoroki climbing over the wall with ice, staring right at you.
Just then, Bakugo flies above Shoto making explosions with his hands. He lands, licking his lips, and starts to run towards you. An evil and menacing smile on his face. You grit you teeth, running faster.
You turn left down the trail and stop completely. Your eyes widen and you freeze when you're met with huge green robots. They had huge metal bodies and red lasers as eyes.
