It was Monday, so sadly you had to go back to class.
You hurried through the hallways, not seeing many people. You had no trouble finding the classroom though, thanks to the asshole.
You weren't sure what was planned for today, since tomorrow was a pretty important day. Hopefully nothing too hard you hoped.
You walked in and took your seat. You arrived quite early so the only people in there were Mineta and Jirou. Jirou hasn't talked to you much, but you just assumed it was because she was shy.
You had nothing else to do, and you definitely weren't going to talk to Mineta, so you decided you would make the first move. Plus, how is she ever going to come out of her box unless she talks more.
"Hi!" you say pleasantly. She looks up at you with a flat expression and hums.
'Was that her response?! The hell am I supposed to say to that?'
You sit at the desk next to hers and look down at the piece of paper she had in front of her. She was drawing something, and it kinda looked like a person but you couldn't see it from where you were sitting.
She looks up at you again and sees you were looking at. She jumps, her face colored in dark red, which sends the paper flying to the ground in front of you. You stare at it, completely shocked.
It was a bright colored, perfect, and hand crafted picture of Denki. He had his usual smile on his face, and his hair was just as poofy as normal. Your eyes scanned over the paper and you could see little hearts she had drawn around his body, and his name was written in cursive at the top.
Jirou flung herself to the ground, snatching up the paper. Her face was red with embarrassment and her eyes prickled with tears.
'Ohhh.. so that's why she wasn't talking to me... she likes him. Shit.'
You place yourself on the ground in front of her and grab her hands that were scrambling all over the place. She looks up at you, and you smile in return.
"That's a really pretty drawing," you say winking.
Jirou looks down at the ground and murmurs something.
"What did you sa-"
"I said it's not like he likes me anyway. I have liked him this whole damn year, and then you show up and he immediately falls for you, for everyone. He flirts with everyone instead of me. It's not fair, and for some reason I felt the need to take it out on you. I'm sorry." she said still looking at the ground.
You place your hand on her shoulder, making her look up. You laugh and help her stand up along with you.
"Denki and I are just friends," you assure her. "Yes, he might flirt with me, but I don't see him that way."
Saying this, you felt like a thousand of weights were being lifted off your shoulders.
You knew you didn't see Denki like that, and you never wanted to do anything that would risk loosing him as a friend. But you were too scared to say anything to him, and you felt as if his comfort was something you needed. You took it for granted, leading him on in the process.
Plus you were too confused about someone else right now... (although you weren't ready to admit that to yourself yet.)
"I will make sure he knows that today, okay! There's no need to worry," you say warmly. Jirou's eyes light up as she nods and sits back down.

Class was about to start, and everyone had already taken their seats when Bakugo walked in. You gaped at his appearance, along with everyone else. He had enormous dark circles under his eyes, and his hair was going in a million different directions.
