It was a cold September day and I decided to go to the library. Two-bit came along with me since he had to get a cookbook to make dinner. Once we got there, I went to go help Mrs. Bozzney. She is the librarian. I help her once in a while and she pays me a few bucks.

"Good morning Mrs. Bozzney," I say walking into her office

"Good morning Y/n, How are you?" She asked

"I'm great, You?" I reply

"Same as you," She said

"Is there anything you want me to help you with?" I asked her

"My nephew came in to help me earlier, he just went out to get me some donuts but you can take those stacks of books to the back," she said pointing to three stacks.

"Alright, I'm on it," I say. The carts were all full so I took them by arm. I couldn't really see since the stack was tall. Little did I know the next step I took I bumped into someone and all the books came flying down with me to the floor. This was my last stack.

"Oh gosh are you alright?" a boy asked, extending his hand to help me up.

"Yeah, my bad, I wasn't looking where I was going," I replied.

He helped me pick up the books and said "You must be Y/n, right?"

"Yeah, How do you know?" I asked

"My aunt told me that you come to help her sometimes and she tells me so much about you"

"So your Mrs. Bozzney's nephew," I said. He nodded and helped me take the books to the back.

"I'm Lucas by the way," he said with the brightest smile.

"Nice to meet you Lucas" I shake his hand.

"Y/n, I got my book, let's go," Two said. We both turned to Two-bit who seemed a little confused himself.

"Hello, I'm Lucas Mrs. Bozzneys nephew, what's your name?" he asked

"I'm Two-bit, Y/n's brother" Two replied

"Ahem, It was nice to meeting you Lucas but me and Two-bit gotta go, see ya," I say

"See ya," Lucas says with a smile. I looked over at Two-bit who was looking at me with a smile.

"What," I say

"Oh, nothing," He says laughing. I rolled my eyes and lightly punched his shoulder.

"What book did you get," I said trying to change the subject

"Italian Pasta" he replied

"Ooooh, sounds delicious," I say, licking my lips in hunger. We start walking to the Curtis house. It has been a year since Mr. and Mrs. Curtis died from an auto accident.
