𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐭 - 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐏𝐎𝐕
I was at home with my older brother Two-bit. His real name is Keith but most people call him Two-bit. I was 8 and he was around 12. Our mom was not at home. She is always working and always comes home late and our father had abandoned us some time ago. So we were alone. Last week Two-bit ate the last piece of the pie, it was supposed to be my piece and he promised he would make it up to me.
"Two, can we go to the park? You promised you would make it up to me" I begged
"Oh okay, go put your shoes on," he said.
"Yayyy" I screamed out in excitement. I rushed to my room and put my shoes on. We got on our bikes and went to the park. I was on the swings and Two was playing football with the older boys. I was walking to the monkey bars when I suddenly tripped on a rock. I scraped my knee and it was bleeding.
"Are you alright?" a little boy asked
"No, I just scraped my knee," I replied. He reached into his pocket and took out bandaid.
"There, that'll make it better," he said
"Thanks" I reply
"I'm Ponyboy Curtis," he said. I started to giggle.
"What's so funny," he asked
"Your name is silly" I replied
"I'm Y/n Matthews," I say
The rest of the evening we played pirates. It was super fun. I never had a friend like him. Then a woman came towards us.
"Oh mom, meet my friend Y/n" Pony jumped off the monkey bars.
"Hello Y/n, how are you doing," she asks
"I'm doing well," I say
"May I ask, where is your mother?"
"Oh my mothers at work, I came here with my older brother Two-bit," I said pointing over to the boys playing football.
"Oh well, would you and your brother like to join us for dinner?" she asked nicely
"I'd have to ask Two-bit," I say
"Let's go ask him," Pony said, grabbing my hand and we raced to Two-bit. Two-bit agreed and we walked to their house. The dinner was delicious. I haven't had dinner this great in a long time
