Sodapop's POV

Ponyboy is just filled with anger. Him and Darry have been fighting alot. I can't seem to bring him back to the way he was before. After Ponyboy left for school I decided to go and talk to Y/n. I knew she wouldn't want to come to school, trying to avoid Ponyboy. I knocked on the door and Y/n's mom answered.

"Is Y/n home?"i asked

"Y/n, someone's here to see you" she shouted

"Ok, i'll be there in a bit" Y/n shouted back. I heard her footsteps getting closer. Before she could notice it was me she said "Who is i-" she paused and looked at me with anger.

"What do you want?" she sassed

"We need to talk"i said

"There's nothing to talk about" she says about shutting the door. I put my foot in between to stop it.

"Just hear me out" I say. She opens the door wide.

"Fine. you have five minutes" she rolled her eyes

"Five minutes? That's not enough-"

"One, two,-"

"Okay five minutes"i say

"What i thought" she mumbles

"You and Ponyboy have been great friends for a long time, Ponyboy regrets saying those things to you, he never meant them. You both were inseparable, talk to him. He is also hurt by losing you. Just forgive him. Pony hasn't been the same without you. Give him another chance" I say

"Why doesn't he come say it himself then?" He sure does seem hurt" Y/n says pointing at Ponyboy and Cherry laughing. Oh no Pony could see me. He would kill me if he ever found out. I grabbed Y/n by her hand and pulled her inside with me. I shut the door quickly and peek out the window.

"He doesn't know you're here, right?" she asked. I shook my head.

"Okay, fine, I'll talk to him"she says

"I knew still loved him inside" I teased

"Get out," she said rolling her eyes. I got up and before I could walk out, I peeked out again to see if they were gone and I started to make my way to the Dx. Now my next mission is to get them to admit their feelings. Progress.
