Hoshi (japanse for star) is broken and scarred. She doesn't know of the good things in life because she has always known the darkness. For as long as she remembered, she was part of a training system that taught her how to fight and kill. Her captors were molding her to become an assassin when the Academy appears.

Saved from her captors by nine men and their wife, she is taken to the hospital. For the time she is hospitalized due to her injuries, the group of nine men and their wife, known as the Blackbourne Team, visit her everyday. She discovers that they want her in their lives and doesn't mind when they adopt her. The Blackbourne team takes her home where she meets her nine brothers. 

Join her journey through her life as she learns what a family is and what love is when she meets six boys. 

(note: This story starts when she's ten and joins the blackbourne family. It ends when she's 22 and has her own family. It also includes an older Blackbourne Team with nine rambunctious and overprotective brothers. )
