Sang has been abused for all her life. When she was 17, she ran away from home and ended in Charleston, South Carolina. She meets a man called Uncle who hooks her up with a job at a local club.
Three years later, Sang is a bartender in Charleston, but Sang isn't normal. She can see people's age in years as an invisible number above their heads. Because of her ability, she is practically the perfect bartender, but one day she sees a person with a four digit number. When she starts to ask questions, she is thrust into a world where the supernatural seems natural. Then she learns she is rare supernatural creature who has the ability to control people's time. She can reverse their age, turn people old or young, or take the years away from them and into herself.
When a greedy supernatural want her for himself, will she be able to trust the nine men who brought her into this world?
