It was a silent trip, the only thing that was playing throughout the silence was the music playing in the car's radio. Kyoshi dozed off again so did Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko, Mizuno was charging just by the car's charging station, Katsumi thinking of some things, and Miko was patiently waiting for Mikio to detect the next member's whereabouts. Mainly everyone was taking a nap and the only ones who were awake were Katsumi, Miko, and a Mikio. "So boss," Miko called "Hmm?" Katsumi raised her eyebrows while her other hand tapped the stirring wheel through the music's beat "I was wondering, what will happen next after this investigation is done?" Miko asked while leaning onto the chair's back and placing Shuichi's head on his shoulder, he didn't want the young boy to wake up with a painful neck now, considering his head was facing down while taking a nap.
"What will happen after the investigation you say? Hmmm," Katsumi thought about it for a moment, "After the investigation huh? Well if I find them all alive then I'll bring everyone back to their families and then bring back Kokichi with us but if what happens will be the opposite and they're all gone... I guess I have to mourn him again and go on with life," Katsumi thought and sighed. "It'll still be the same though, I'll bring them back to their families and go back to our usual routines it'll still be the same for the other result but a bit sad," Katsumi said while looking at Miko's face from the rear view mirror. Miko then was silent he knew that his boss would always reply like that "So what if it turns out like that, it's not like some things changed," is something he always felt whenever he listens to Katsumi's words. They were like blades that would stab a person only for them to realize they've really been stabbed.
It was always like that. He sometimes wonders how he even fell for her, it's not like he has a chance to be with her, she's not even interested with love. She was always dull, her words would sometimes hurt and she's not even aware "Why do I have a crush on her?" is what he always asks but then he remembers what Katsumi really is. She's not just a dull and cold person, she's also kind, sweet, caring, and considerate. Whenever he did something wrong he would ask forgiveness but she insists on hearing him apologize to her, however, she does tell him not to repeat the same mistakes again. Yes, that's exactly why he fell for her, he may not have a chance to be in a relationship with her but staying by her side as an assistant is already enough for him.
It was silent until Mikio spoke up "AHA!" his voice rang throughout the car even overpowering the music's volume causing everyone who was asleep in the car to wake up. "Huh?" Shuichi woke up from Miko's shoulder and rubbed his eyes "Mikio, what the hell man," Kyoshi groaned and tried dozing off again, Mizuno was still asleep, Maki got angry but then shoved it aside and Himiko fell asleep again. "Found anything Mikio?" Katsumi asked. "Mmmhmm! I found Andrew's location, it seems that he's in a boxing gym training," Mikio replied "Which boxing gym and where?" Katsumi asked again.
"Misako Boxing Gym," Mikio replied again "That's in Nerima," Katsumi said and sighed "Alright team we got to claim some info from a former boxing champ," Katsumi said and cringed from her words and drove the car's speed faster. "Wait, boss! Let's eat first!" Miko suggested while Katsumi sighed again and nodded. Who wants to continue an investigation with an empty stomach?
