Chapter 20: The Hideout (Or facility as some of you might call it)

Shuichi groaned and got up from his bed and degan stretching. He looked at the clock and realized it was already 7 am "We're going to meet the others again at 10:20 I guess," he thought and rubbed his eyes then fixed his bed afterwards. "Good morning Shuichi," Maki greeted him while cooking like ususal "Morning," he said while taking a seat on three dinner table, Himiko was already there. "Nyeh, I feel nervous today," she said while playing with the spoon and fork "And why is that?" Maki asked her while placing the food on there table and joined them "What if someone is like... following us or what if we get caught by one of the members that took us in the hideout?" She looked down while Maki and Shuichi looked at each other.

"Do you really think of it that way?" Maki asked her and earned a nod from the mage "Himiko, remember what Nissho said, they don't have a permanent address and the transfer from one place to another so the place were going to today is completely abandoned," Shuichi exclaimed while patting her head like a parent. "Unless if someone's there then I'll take care of it then," Maki glared daggers at their food and chuckled "No, I don't want any of you getting hurt, or worse, getting caught again. I can't let that thing happen to anyone again," Shuichi smiled at both Maki and Himiko while Himiko looked up at them.

"Nyeh, then what are we waiting for? Let's eat!" She smiled and began picking up some parts of the foods for breakfast "That's the spirit Himiko! And please eat slowly, you don't wanna choke," Shuichi chuckled and picked up some food as well, today's going to be a long day.

Meanwhile...

"Кацуми," her mother called "Yes mother?" Katsumi looked at her while cleaning her car's hood "Breakfast is ready, why don't you continue that next Saturday?" Her mother suggested "I understand what you mean mom and don't worry I'll be there just let me finish this it only has a few parts left to be wiped," Katsumi replied and kept wiping her car's hood. "Is that a lie?" Her mother asked while Katsumi paused and looked at her "Mom, you know I can't lie to you, I've always been telling you the truth ever since... Forever," Katsumi said and furrowed her eyebrows a little. "Я знаю, я просто баловался с тобой," her mother smiled and approached her.

Translation: I know, I was just messing with you

"Mother, I'm fine, I'll joining you for breakfast," Katsumi looked at her mother"Это моя дочь, теперь давай, у тебя долгий день расследований с множеством людей, тебе нужна энергия и плюс, ты мой первый ребенок, ты можешь пройти через это," she stated and hugged Katsumi while Katsumi hugged her back. "Let's go," she added and grabbed Katsumi by the hand as they both went inside the house.

Translation: That's my daughter, now come on, you have a long day of investigating with other people, you need energy and plus! You're my first child, you can get through this.

Timeskip

"Hey guys!" Miko waved at them and ran to the car "Good morning Mik mik," Kyoshi teased him "Shut up I'm older than you," Miko laughed as well as the others, Katsumi on the other hand just sighed. "Alright, everybody ready?" She wound up her arm and waved it in front of them for no reason "Yeah, we're ready!" They all responded "By the way Miko, we just went to Violet Space Tech Co. to get Mizuno's body so that we won't be carrying her all throughout the day," Kyoshi said. "Really? Okay then so I guess it'll be Mikio now," he chuckled and adjusted himself in a much more comfortable position.

"Be prepared gang, we're going to the Northwestern part of Nerima," Katsumi spoke up and continued in the road, making their way to the hideout's destination.
