Chapter 2: HAIYA!

Flashback

Several months ago: several days later (after waking up from the Killing Game)

Shuichi's POV

"Mr. Saihara, Ms. Harukawa, and Ms. Yumeno," one of the doctors called us, we looked at him with curious looks in our faces "I would like you three to meet your new friend she's going to help you three in your days here in the hospital," the doctor stepped aside so we could see her.

"Mizuno Suzunosuke, nice to meet'ya!" she grinned and opened her hand out to me wanting a handshake "Oh, S-Shuichi Saihara nice to meet you and these two are Maki and Himiko," I pointed at them as she glanced on bothe sides of the room "Hi nice to meet you," Maki waved while sipping her chicken soup "Nice to meet you as well," Himiko lazily said.

Some of the doctors already left the room except for one who started checking the charts beside our beds. Mizuno grabbed a chair and placed it backwards the sat on it (The same way Rantaro sits) "So Mizuno, what are you known for?" I asked "Me? Oh! I'm a Nikken fighter!" She said while doing a fighting stance using her arms "A Nikken Fighter?" Maki raised an eyebrow "Oh, it's a short term for Nippon Kempo," she replied while Maki mouthed an "Ah". Meanwhile, the doctor approached her and whispered to her ear.

"Oh really, do I have to?" She asked and the doctor nodded in response and left the room "What is it?" Himiko asked."Well you guys might not believe this but... I'm also," Mizuno blinked as her brown pupils suddenly changed changed making us yelp "An AI," she smiled.

Her eyes were filled with binary codes going around and around "An AI?" I said " Wait then you're-" I got interrupted by her "Yup! I'm the same as your friend Kiiboy except he's a robot and I'm not- oops! Robophobic!" She chuckled (Lol girl you're a robot you just don't like being called one) "You guys should've already known the moment you saw my wristband!" She told us and showed us her wristband on her left arm, it had a binary code running along the band.

"Then do you know what happened to us?" Maki asked earning a frown from Mizuno "Y-yeah... You guys were so helpless I really wished I could do something," she said "Do something?" Himiko asked again. "Well you see, I can do this," Mizuno stood up from her chair and stood beside the television and in a blink of an eye she was already inside the television with a noise behind her.

"Woah!" Me, Maki, and Himiko said in sync. Mizuno's body was laying on a floor and both her eyes had the word "Loading..." she went back to her body againg using the TV's cable that was near her and then stood up and bowed.

"Wow that was amazing!" Himiko clapped with a grin on her face "Thanks!" Mizuno smiles "How did you do that?" I asked her "My creator installed it! She helps me a lot," she replied "So you're creator's a girl huh," Maki slightly smiled.

"Yeah, you'll meet her soon," she sat on her chair again "Soon but not today," she added and the three of us nodded.

End of Flashback

Maki's POV

"Finally!" Shuichi sat on the couch beside her with newly changed clothes and a wet hair "Hehe sorry Shuichi," Himiko chuckled while playing with her cards. "The next time you take a bath at make it a bit quick," Shuichi said and placed a pillow behind his head. "You two really need to settle down," I told them and switched to the news.

Breaking news!

Father and son found dead at a supermarket's warehouse!

I sat there and listened to the news while Himiko and Shuichi did the same "And Tsumugi said that the world was peaceful and only needed Danganronpa to prevent it from going to chaos," Himiko frowned "Please don't mention her name ever again," I told her.

"Hmmm... How did they even got there?" I heard Shuichi talking "What? You mean the father and son?" I said and he nodded in response "Yeah, I was just thinking what could the two of them be doing in the warehouse late at night?" He said.

"Probably arranging some things in the warehouse," I replied "That could be possible," He sighed and went back to watching the news. "Uncle, uncle," The voice in Shuichi's phone called "Whoops, looks like Uncle is calling," he stood up the couch and picked up his phone then went outside.

I've been thinking about what topics Mizuno would like to hear, she likes hearing more about humans and she reminds me a lot of Kiibo but more advanced. I gotta say that her creator really went through a lot of effort in creating her. Mizuno's characteristics, the way she acts and the way she see things is the same as that of a human.

I don't really know much about robots or artificial intelligence but Mizuno is something not even a human can suspect. When we first had our one on one conversation I was shocked to see her consuming food, you don't see that in most robots. She usually eats seaweed pads and drinks lots of water which is pretty shocking and impressive.

One time when the four of us went to the park to exercise Shuichi and Himiko even got shocked to see Mizuno sweating real sweat! Or that one time we watched a sad movie and she cried real tears, Mizuno is pretty advanced!

However, she would usually look the same everyday. Same hairstyle, same clothes, and same form. Sure we wore the same thing back in the Killing Game but that was different. She sometimes mentions how her creator first created her, she stated that her creator "accidentally" created a design on a dress up game when she was eleven years old and then asked herself "What would I look like if I was born in a different family?" and that's how Mizuno got her looks. At least that what she told me.

But sometimes when I try asking Mizuno how her creator looks like or what's her name she dodges that question. Well I can't really imagine how her creator looks like and everytime I try to the only one that comes into my mind is Miu. Well, she's the only inventor I've ever met so of course I'd imagine her.

"Hey guys," Shuichi's voice brought me back to reality, the TV was already show a food commercial "Shuichi what is it?" Himiko walked towards him "Oh, my uncle was just inviting you us for snacktime," Shuichi said while going to the stand where his jacket is. "Well it wouldn't be that bad," I said as I stood up and went to my bedroom to fix my hair.

"Oh and prepare some things on the way," Shuichi added making me stop to my bedroom's door "Huh, why?" I asked "But your uncle only lives nearby why do we need to change and prepare some stuffs?" Himiko added to what I was gonna say (I'M NOT MAKING ANY SENSE!).

"Welp," Shuichi took a deep breath and opened his mouth letting the words escape "Today's the day,"
