Chapter 17: Team Solar

(This is a very long chapter. Considering that Team Solar has lik 4 members. So I'll divide this chapter into two where each consists of the gang meeting two members. But anyways back to the story)

No one's POV

"A research facility? About what? And isn't it Saturday- Oh wait... Duties are a thing," Katsumi spoke up while Mikio was giving her the directions "It's just researchs related to Science," Mikio replied while telling Katsumi to go left from where they were in which Katsumi followed.

"So who exactly is the first member?" Maki asked while holding Himiko tightly to prevent her from bumping onto Katsumi's chair whenever the car brakes. "A guy named Nissho, once known as the Ultimate Journalist, mainly focused on Photo Journalism but that's not important. Nice man but sometimes is very clumsy, but be careful... He's a control freak," Mikio stated which made Mizuno frown a bit.

"He was going to be a victim back in the killing game but he uh... kinda ended up killing his culprit, he accidentally bumped into a bookshelf which caused an alcohol lamp to fall and land on his culprit's head," Mizuno said while Kyoshi typed random words in the tablet where she's in.

"Do you see a large White building?" Mikio made a beeping sound again "I do does it have blue painted lines on the side?" Katsumi asked "Yes, that's it," Mikio replied as Katsumi entered the buildings parking lot. "Alright, let's go," Katsumi stopped the car's engine while the others went out of the vehicle. "Alright Miko! Lead the way," Kyoshi stepped aside so that Miko can walk through. "Alright Mikio what do we need to do?'' Miko asked his little AI while connecting a wireless earpiece so that Mikio's voice won't be heard out loud and placing it in his left ear.

"Just go to the guard house and ask what room or floor does he works in... I think Katsumi would be better though," Miko suggested."Uh... boss, Mikio said you should ask for his office location at the guard house," Miko looked at Katsumi. "Okay," Katsumi simply replied while walking to the guard house where the guard seemed to be checking some papers. "Excuse me sir," Katsumi called while approaching the guard house with Miko by her side and the others following them. "Ah yes, can I help you all?" The guard stopped looking through the papers and went out of the guard house.

"Uhhhmmm we were wondering if uh... Nissho Yamamoto is still in his duty," Miko asked with an unsure face "Did I say it right?" Miko whispered in the most inaudible sound "Yes Master you did," Mikio replied. "Oh yes! Mr. Yamamoto will be out by 6pm do you have some business with him I assume?" The guard looked at Katsumi and Miko then at the others behind them. "Yes, we have. You see, Mr. Yamamoto said he would provide us 'something' last week," Katsumi lied but it was enough and convince the guard. "Oh is that so? Very well then, Mr. Yamamoto is in his lab found in the building's 4th floor, just two rooms away to the left once you get there," the guard told them making while Kyoshi and Mizuno had a smile on their faces (Mizuno is in Kiyoshi's bag but she can hear the whole conversation).

"Thank you sir for telling us," Katsumi thanked the guard while he nodded in response. "Let's go," Katsumi walked away while the others followed her to the building while Miko disconnected his earpiece from his iPad.

"There's the lie," Shuichi whispered at Maki while Maki nodded.

Timeskip to 4th floor

"Here we are," Miko went out first from the elevator while the others followed "It's bigger than I thought," Shuichi looked around "Nyeh, the colors are making me dizzy," Himiko blinked multiple times while looking at the walls. They were all covered in splashed colors some were painted in abstract art that had scientific themes. "Two rooms away to the left huh... Welp let's go," Kyoshi walked to the left corridor while Maki and the others followed.
