eleven. | blooming crush

I was in Chemistry, I couldn't even pay attention to class anymore. It's been 2 weeks, and all of my attention has moved from studying to Rantaro. I don't know why, I just keep thinking about him all day, and I can't seem to get any work done.

I zoned out of class, staring at Rantaro, who was paying attention to class like a normal student. I found myself lost in thought, only thinking about him, until the teacher slammed her ruler on my desk.

"Saihara, pay attention to class," she said, walking back to the board. I flinched a bit, but nodded. I got quite a few stares at me, I was pretty embarrassed, but I focused on class for the entire time, scribbling down the notes, really hoping school would end.

The bell rang, thank god. I got up, getting my things and walking to my next class.

I walk down the hallway, making my way to the other side to get to my math class. I slid open the door, walking in and sitting down on my seat, getting out my things.

Students walked in, looking tired, probably wishing the day would end. I can pretty much relate to them. The bell rang loudly, making everyone wake up, well, some of them. The rest of the students who weren't there, showed up either late or absent.

I paid attention to class, but sometimes zoning out, and suddenly daydreaming, but that didn't happen very much, I managed to also snap out of it every time I even thought about him.

Math class was boring, as usual. Barely anyone was paying attention or they're asleep. I don't blame them, math is boring, but when the teacher yells, sometimes I feel like I'm the one getting yelled.

I check the clock, 10 minutes until we all can leave.

Finally, school can be over soon..

I sat at my desk, spinning in my chair as I think about what it would be like to have a soulmate, especially him.

I suddenly realized I haven't checked on my wrist in a while. I got up in joy, running to my bathroom and flicking the lights on, walking in front of the mirror and pulling my sleeve up.

I check my wrist, oh! Another letter!

But..

It's another.. A?

I stare at my wrist for a bit, what? I thought, pulling my sleeve down, exiting out of the bathroom, flicking the lights off.

I sat back down on my chair, 2 A's? That's too hard to know who my soulmate is.. I thought, wondering who could be my soulmate.. and, well. There are some options.

I sigh, deciding to leave it unsolved for now. I already finished all my homework, it was really boring. I would call him, but I'm just too afraid.. I also have no idea how to start and carry on the conversation.

I already checked twitter, some random news on Kyoko and Byakuya, and there's some suspicion Kyoko has a significant other? I have no clue where they got that, but I have a feeling it's someone from our school.

Sayaka's new album also released today, I guess that's pretty cool, even though I'm not a huge fan of her.

I leaned back in my chair, staring at the ceiling until I get a call. It made me jumped a bit, grabbing my phone until I saw who it was.

I answer the call, putting the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I said, sitting up straight.

"Hey, Shuichi! Sorry for the sudden call, but I have something to ask you," he said on the other side of the phone.

"Oh.. sure..? What is it?" I ask, wondering what he would ask me about.

"You free on Friday? It's fine if you aren't free! I just wanted to ask," he said. "Oh.. yea? I don't have anything to do on Friday.. so I'm free," I said. "Oh! Cool! I was wondering if we could go to the ice skating rink?" He asked.

Ice skating rink?

I laugh a bit, "Seriously? I don't even know how to skate!" I said, spinning in my chair. "Oh, cmon! I'll teach you! It isn't that hard," he said, "Oh, gotta go. I have to go take care of my sisters, text me if you wanna go," he said, I could hear some yelling in the background.

"Oh- okay, bye, Rantaro!" I said, then he hung up the call.
