It was Monday again, and I hate it. I walk to my locker, opening it, dumping all the things I don't need into my locker.
"Hey," someone beside me said, I already knew who it was.
"Hi, Rantaro," I said, closing my locker and locking it back up.
"Shuichiii!!" I heard someone yell my name, oh no..
I sigh, really trying my best to ignore him.
"Heyyy!! Shuichi!! Why won't you talk to me?" He said, sounding sad.
Don't respond don't respond don't respond don't respond don't-
"Kokichi, that's enough," Rantaro said, lightly pushing Kokichi away. I look at Kokichi for a moment, he looked like he was plotting a murder.
I looked away instantly, walking to school, passing by Kokichi.
I could tell he was mad.
Really mad.
I don't know why he's mad, but I can tell he's pissed at someone or something.
I quickly scurried to my first class, sitting down and waiting for the bell to ring. I could see Rantaro walk by my class since the doors were still open, he was walking up the stairs, talking to someone else.
I sigh, staring at my desk as the bell rang, a few students running in, even though they're late.
———
The bell rings, students getting up and then rushing out of class to go to lunch. I got up, grabbing my stuff and walking to lunch like a normal person.
I pass by Rantaro, who waved at me as he talks to his friends near his locker. I shyly wave back, making my way to lunch.
I sat down with my friends, getting out my novel as usual, reading during lunch.
I was too focused on reading until it got snatched. "Huh- hey!" I said, looking at who took my book.
Miu laughs, reading the page out loud, then slamming the book, throwing it to the ground.
I close my eyes because of the loud noise, but eventually I had enough. I got up, walking to Miu, she still looked confident, but I can see her confidence is about to break.
"Haha! What are you going to do about it, Pooichi?" Miu said, still keeping up her confidence.
I grabbed a water bottle, "This," I splash the water bottle on her, an audible gasp came out of her mouth as she's soaked in water. Her makeup was ruined, her clothes were wet, and her hair was wet too.
"YEEAAA SHUICHI!!!" Ibuki cheers.
I realized what I had done, looking at the empty water bottle. "I-I-"
Miu left, the cafeteria, soaked in water.
I actually didn't feel bad though. After being made fun of for years, I'm pretty happy that I did that. I grabbed my book, sitting down at the table with my friends.
