As the Vytal Festival continued, the Kybuck Clan watched as the other teams competed with one another in the tournament. They quickly saw that all these teams had potential.

Ganodi: Wow! Look at them go!

Zatt: Competition is definitely fierce. Looks like they're giving it all they got.

Petro: We don't forget that so will we! We're gonna show them what Jedi Knights are capable of!

Gungi: <I'm with Petro! We're Jedi! The Force is with us!>

Byph: But that doesn't mean we should be underestimating them! I mean look at Team RWBY and Team SHDW! Even Jaune's gotten pretty good!

They soon saw Team SSSN defeating Team NDGO. They watched as Sun helped Neptune get near the water to use the electricity from his trident , he electrifies all three opponents in one fell swoop, winning the match.

Petro: Isn't that Neptune guy afraid of the water?

Katooni: I guess Sun got him to get over it.

Soon enough, they watched Team VRML from Vale emerge victorious over Team Haven's Team BBNT. They also watched Team ASUR from Atlas Academy achieve an overwhelming victory from Team MAUV from Beacon.

Katooni: Byph's right. Just because we have the Force, it doesn't mean we're invincible. If the Clone Wars taught us anything, it's that the Jedi are far from invincible.

That unfortunate reminder hit all the members of the Kybuck Clan. Up until the Clone Wars, the Jedi were viewed as invincible guardians. But both the Clone Wars and Order 66 proved that the Jedi were far from invincible. It was a reminder that constantly haunted them due to the traumatic ordeal of surviving Order 66.

Ganodi: It's hard to believe we survived up until this point. I mean, how did some of the greatest masters in the Jedi Order got killed but we didn't? Surely it should be the other way around!

Zatt: Don't forget that some of them were fighting the war when it happened. They might not have known it was coming until it was too late. I mean look how an army of Clones were able to march into the Jedi Temple. I don't think anyone saw it coming.

They all remembered how the Clones marched into the Jedi Temple and sacked it without warning. They remembered the fear they felt as the Clones killed any Jedi they came across. It seemed impossible to them that the Jedi were gone.

Petro: I'd say we got lucky, but I think the Force would say otherwise.

Katooni: That's why we can't underestimate our opponents. No matter how strong we are, we must always be on our guard at all times.

Petro: Jeez. You seriously need to work on your pep talk skills, Katooni. I'm pretty sure there's a better way to pep us up.

Katooni chuckled at Petro's reaction. Her thoughts soon fell on the Dark Man. In recent days, visions of the Dark Man continued to plague her mind. She soon saw visions of the Dark Man sitting upon a black throne. The world around him was in flames. Out of everything that was happening in Remnant, it was the Dark Man that Katooni feared the most. It didn't take long before the others could see that something was troubling their friend.

Petro: Hey, are you okay?

Katooni: I'm...I'm fine.

Ganodi: You look like you haven't slept in days. Maybe you should sit this one out. I'm sure Gungi would be more than happy to take your place.

Katooni: I'm fine, Ganodi. Really. It's just that something's been bothering me.

Petro: The Dark Man?

Katooni: I've been seeing visions about the Dark Man. They come more frequently. I see him sitting on a throne and the world around him is in flames.

Upon hearing this, the rest of the Kybuck Clan shared Katooni's concerns. It was clear that the Dark Man was a dangerous threat. However, they knew nothing about the Dark Man or whether he really existed or not.

Petro: It'll be all right, Katooni. Even if the Dark Man is real, I'm sure we can take him. I mean, we've come this far.

Katooni couldn't help but smile at Petro's confidence. It seemed to have ease her slightly of the burden of the visions. Ganodi then tried to lighten up the mood.

Ganodi: Has anyone seen Professor Huyang?

Petro: He's fine. He's helping Professor Port and Doctor Oobleck over at the commentator's stand.

Meanwhile at the commentator's stand, Professor Huyang was helping Port and Oobleck with some of the finer details.

Port: It seems you were right about our mechanical friend, Bartholomew!

Oobleck: Was there ever any doubt, Peter? Professor Huyang is a professor of unmatched character and wit!

Huyang: Oh you humble me, my friends! I am merely a humble servant! Though I must say, it is quite an odd job. I've never taken part in something like this.

Port and Oobleck watch as Huyang utilized four limbs to check on the console's capabilities.

Huyang: There we are! I managed to fix that little bug that was lingering in the intercom systems! You needn't worry about unexpected activation. Just try not to spill your coffee on it next time.

Port: I told you it was an accident! I was simply caught off guard by these last few matches! I've never seen such impressive displays in all my life! The future is certainly bright if we have these capable youngsters as future Huntsmen!

Huyang: Remember my friends, the future is always in motion.

With that, Huyang along with Port and Oobleck resumed their duties as commentators for the Vytal Festival. It was clear that this year's combat tournament would be indeed a thrilling affair.
