The Kybuck Clan Volume III (RWBY X Star Wars)

Chapter Ten - Chaos

Hordes of Grimm began pouring onto Vale. Panic and chaos had taken hold. The Kybuck Clan made their way to the fairgrounds where they saw Blake and Weiss fighting off a several Grimm. Katooni used Force Judgement to stun one of the Grimm, allowing Petro to deal the killing strike on the Grimm. Zatt and Ganodi then launch a coordinated assault on another Grimm while Gungi and Byph take out the stragglers. 

Katooni: Are you two okay?

Blake: We'll be fine. Thanks for the assistance. 

Zatt: Where's Ruby and Yang?

Weiss: Yang's in Beacon. I'm not sure about Ruby. 

Blake: These Grimm aren't the only things we should worry about. Yang told us that the White Fang are releasing Grimm into the school. 

In that moment, what was happening became clear. Katooni was the first one to connect the attack with the Dark Man. Gungi had another concern in mind. 

Gungi: <Velvet! She could be in danger!>

Petro: Don't worry, big guy. We'll get to her soon enough. 

Byph: What's the plan guys?!

Katooni: We need to get to Ozpin as quickly as possible! There's a chance the Dark Man is responsible for this attack!

Weiss: Dark Man? What Dark Man? What is going on?!

Petro: It's a long story and we don't exactly have time to talk about it! Just watch your back. 

With that, the Kybuck Clan began rushing to commentator's stand where Ozpin was just preparing to leave. Also in the room was Professor Huyang.

Katooni: Ozpin! Professor Huyang! Vale...Vale's under attack! 

Ozpin: We know, Katooni. It seems our enemies have made their first move. How could I not have foreseen this?

Katooni: I'm afraid it's far worse than that. During the match, I felt a dark presence near us. I....I have a reason to suspect that the Dark Man is behind this attack.

Upon hearing this, Ozpin was confused as well as concerned. Up until this point, Ozpin had no knowledge of the Dark Man. Professor Huyang then spoke.

Huyang: If the Dark Man is responsible for this attack, then Beacon Academy could be in serious danger. 

Ozpin: Whoever or whatever this Dark Man is, it's clear this Dark Man is a dangerous threat. There's a possibility that he may know about the Vault. That is why I'm going to the Vault. 

Ganodi: Are you crazy?! Vale's a warzone! It's dangerous out there!

Ozpin: That is true, but there is too much at stake. If our enemies gain access to that Vault, then the powers of the Fall Maiden may fall into their hands. I need you all at Beacon. 

Petro: You're going to need our help on this. 

Ozpin: Beacon needs your help. I will be fine. This kingdom needs your help. If I am recalling this correctly, then the Jedi Knights are peacekeepers. I am asking you to honor that oath. 

In that moment, the Kybuck Clan remembered the oaths of the Jedi. Despite wanting to help Ozpin, they all knew he was right. The Kybuck Clan made the decision to go to Beacon and fend off the invasion. Meanwhile at the now emptied Amity Colosseum, Darth Jadus could feel the panic and chaos happening throughout Vale. Darth Jadus had not felt such things since the days of the Old Republic. As Darth Jadus took in the terror, Team SHDW approached him. They bowed before him. 

Mordred: Lord Jadus. 

Darth Jadus: This is only the beginning. As we speak, terror has been planted into the hearts of all who reside in Vale. Every scream of fear fuels our cause. When I took you all in, you lacked purpose and meaning. But you have achieved these and more. Vale is only the beginning of our crusade. Soon, this terror will spread all over this world. We shall usher in a new era. An epoch of terror. As my hands, you will help usher in this era. 

Mordred: We are yours to command, Lord Jadus. 

Darth Jadus: You all have done as you asked. You have completed the tasks I have have given you. Now I ask you to play the parts you have been given. Go to Beacon and defend it with your lives. When the time comes, you will know when to make your exit.

Mordred: What of you, Lord Jadus?

Darth Jadus: I have other matters to attend to. Matters that demand my attention. The information that you have delivered me from the CCT Tower has revealed many secrets. Secrets that I shall exploit. Now go. Play your parts. Fulfill my will. 

With that, Team SHDW loyally followed Darth Jadus's orders. They left the Amity Colosseum to defend Beacon. They would play the roles of Huntsmen ready to defend Vale from the forces of evil. As they left, Darth Jadus calmly exited the Colosseum and began walking towards Beacon Academy. He showed no sign of concern as he made the journey to Beacon Academy. Darth Jadus's mind fell on his words to the Dark Council before he was given his sentence. 

Darth Jadus(Past): Fools. By doing this, you have ensured that I will outlive you all.

In that moment, Darth Jadus felt satisfaction. Terror has gripped Vale. Beacon Academy was under siege. Now a trajectory was set between the Kybuck Clan and Darth Jadus. Soon enough, the Light and Dark Side would clash once more. The Jedi and Sith would fight once more. The stage was set and the game of shadows was in motion.
