As battle rages on, the remaining members of the Kybuck Clan along with Teams CVFY and Team SHDW continue to hold the line against the Grimm as well as the rogue Atlesian Knight-200s. The seemingly endless wave of enemies begin to take their toll on them.
Coco: These things just don't quit!
Zatt: We have to hold the line, no matter what it takes! If we fall, Beacon falls!
Ganodi: Zatt's right! There's too much at stake!
Zatt: We all took an oath the moment we stepped foot into Beacon! The time has come for us to follow through with our oaths!
With that, Zatt rallied everyone still standing to fight for the defense of Beacon. The hordes of Grimm and rogue Atlesian Knight-200s began attacking them. Ganodi used the Force to pull the screws off a group of Atlesian Knight-200s, disassembling them. She then uses the Force to throw the debris onto another group of Atlesian Knight-200s, tearing them to shreds. Gungi and Byph continue to cover for Team CVFY.
Coco: C'mon guys! Let's finish these things and go home!
Yatsuhashi: This battle is far from over, Coco!
During the fight, Team Mordred observed the Kybuck Clan's fighting style as well as how they used the Force. They maintained the cover as defenders of Beacon while fighting off the Grimm and robots.
Mordred: Don't let up! We must hold the line!
Mordred led Team SHDW in a coordinated assault against the enemy forces. As the battle dragged on, Velvet was soon attacked by a Grimm Beowolf. Velvet defended herself with a hard light Lightsaber formed from her camera. Gungi soon jumped to Velvet's aid.
Gungi: <LEAVE HER ALONE!>
Gungi's roar soon got the Beowolf's attention. As Gungi went for an overhead slash, the Beowolf slashed a Gungi's back. Gungi lets out a pained scream as he manages to decapitate the Beowolf. Velvet then rushes to Gungi's side.
Velvet: Gungi! Are you okay?!
Gungi: <I'm...I'm fine. My well being doesn't matter at this moment. All that matters is that I protect you and everyone here!>
Gungi fought through the pain as he continued to fight on. Using his Wookiee resolve to fight on. He fought both Grimm and rogue Atlesian Knight-200s with both his Lightsaber and his bare hands. Velvet was stunned by Gungi's resolve. She watched as Gungi fought through the pain of his injuries to protect her.
Velvet: (Gungi...I won't let you fight this alone!)
Velvet then used her camera to form a hard light construction of a Lightsaber and fought side by side with Gungi with the same resolve. Zatt continued to lead the defense with no end in sight.
Zatt: Don't stop! Don't give them any ground!
Ganodi: Zatt! They just keep coming!
Zatt: It doesn't matter! Katooni and Petro wouldn't give up! Neither will we!
Coco: We're not about to let anyone make Beacon a Grimm playground! Nobody messes with Beacon and gets away with it!
With that, they continued to fight off the horde of Grimm. As they battled, a violent shockwave engulfs all of Vale. The force of the shockwave knocked everyone off their feet. The Jedi among them immediately felt an overwhelming presence of darkness within that storm. It nearly overwhelmed them. After the initial shockwave, all the Atlesian Knight-200s were deactivated and fell to the floor. However, the Grimm kept coming. Everyone quickly got up and began fighting for their lives.
Mordred: Zatt! My team and I will go secure Beacon! There might be Grimm flanking around us!
Zatt: Just watch your back! Whatever that storm was might be nearby!
Mordred: Don't worry, friend. We'll hold our own!
With that, Team SHDW began running in the direction of Beacon Academy while the Kybuck Clan and Team CVFY remained behind. With their weapons drawn, all prepared themselves for a fight.
Byph: There's so many of them!
Fox: They have us surrounded. There's no way out.
Zatt: This is where we make our stand! It's up to us to hold the line! We may be the last line of defense! We must hold the line no matter the costs! Beacon is our home! We must defend it!
With that, the Kybuck Clan and Team CVFY made their stand against the Grimm. They gave it their all as wave after wave of Grimm attacked them. Despite the overwhelming odds against them, the Kybuck Clan and Team CVFY fought on. Zatt led then in a fierce defense of Beacon. They refused to allow the Grimm to take hold. Soon enough, an Atlas Bulkhead arrived and hovered above them. The docking ramp then opened as Professor Huyang stepped out.
Huyang: Come along, my friends! You need to evacuate immediately!
Zatt: We can't just leave Beacon!
Huyang: Beacon Academy is lost! General Ironwood is ordering a complete evacuation! Come! There isn't time!
Left with no choice, the Kybuck Clan and Team CVFY were forced to retreat. As they jumped on board the loading ramp, a Beowolf attacks the Bulkhead. While the Beowolf was promptly killed, Velvet loses her balance and falls. As she clings to the docking ramp, Gungi immediately grabbed her.
Gungi: <I got you, Velvet! Hang on!>
Gungi then pulls Velvet on board. He quickly loses consciousness as his wounds finally took effect. Everyone soon became worried for Gungi.
Velvet: Gungi!
Huyang: He'll be quite all right, Miss Scarlatina. His vitals are still stable.
Ganodi: Have you heard from Katooni and Petro?!
Huyang: I'm afraid not. We haven't word from Miss Rose, Miss Nikos or Headmaster Ozpin. But we'll find them.
With that, Beacon Academy had fallen. The Grimm swarmed Beacon Academy as the Wyvern continues to fly around Beacon. But the battle was not yet over.
