Moving On...

Part 3

Adrien: Yeah of course you guys are the best!

The door unlocks and Marinette and Adrien come out to see Alya and Nino with two boxes of pizza.

Alya: We got dinner!!! Ah Marinette your back!

Marinette: Yeah I came back like an hour ago but where have you been?

Nino: Well, we actually got stuck in the traffic and we might have also spent a long time deciding what to get...

Marinette: Wow what's new about that.

Marinette said while laughing.

Adrien: Seriously does this always happen?

Adrien now said starting to laugh as well and then Alya and Nino agreed and started laughing as well. Alya went back to her apartment and changed into some pjs while Nino and Adrien did the same.

Marinette got out some chips and plates for the pizza and sat on the couch waiting for the rest to arrive.

After some time Marinette decided to sit on the table instead and read some old magazines she kept on her phone. Adrien first came and sat in front of Marinette at their table as Marinette was on her phone smiling while reading some old news about Chat Noir saving the day.

Adrien: Hey what are you smiling at?

Marinette looked up from her phone to see Adrien.

Marinette: Oh nothing just reading some news about Chat Noir...

Adrien: Oh are you a fan of his?

Adrien asked, smirking.

Marinette: Oh no it's just nice to see him get credit for once he works so hard but Ladybug always gets the credit. Ladybug won't ever be able to save the day without Chat Noir!

Adrien was shocked and had tears in his eyes. He never thought Marinette thought so much about him and appreciated him so much!

Adrien: Wow! I didn't know you thought so much about him...are you friends with him?

Marinette: Oh no I'm not...

Marinette said, starting to get upset a little bit thinking about how Chat no longer visits her. Was he mad at her?

Nino had come back out of his room and Alya had just unlocked the apartment door. Alya sat down next to Marinette and Nino sat next to Adrien as well as in front of Alya.

They ate their pizza while talking and laughing. Once they finished they all got up and made their way to the two couches as Alya decided to cuddle with Nino on the couch and Marinette and Adrien sat on the other but were very uncomfortable.

After they had sat down they decided to watch a movie. Once the movie ended Marinette had fallen asleep on Adrien's shoulder while Alya had fallen asleep in Ninos' arms.

Adrien just started at Marinette's face admiringly as Nino got a smirk on his face.

Nino: Psst Adrien!

Adrien: Yeah...

Nino: Alya has fallen asleep so I'm just going to stay here with her on the couch.

Adrien: Oh okay that makes sense...

Nino: Here why don't you two sleep here as well I'm sure Marinette wouldn't mind and she's already asleep.

Adrien: I guess so then.

Nino got up and got two blankets. One for him and Alya and then the other for Adrien and Marinette.

Adrien: Thanks!

Adrien said, putting the blanket around him and Marinette. She woke up a little and looked at Adrien who then smiled at her. They looked into each other's eyes before Marinette closed her eyes again. Over the night Marinette and Adrien ended up really close to one another and were cuddling.

The next morning Adrien was the first one awake to see Marinette in his arms still sleeping. He looked at her sleep for a little bit and then tired and slowly slipped away from her arms. Once he got out of Marinette hands she was already woken up and trying to process that she had just spent the whole night with Adrien.

Adrien: Ah sorry I didn't mean to wake you up, you were sleeping so peacefully but I wanted to make breakfast for all you.

Marinette: Ah no worries! Oh, sorry I fell asleep last night as we were watching the movie.

Adrien: Don't worry about that, you and Alya both had so we just decided to sleep the night on the couch.

Marinette: Thank you guys are really sweet! Here why don't I help you with breakfast since I'm already awake?

Adrien: Oh okay thanks! I have no clue where everything is so...

Marinette and Adrien both start laughing to almost forget that Alya and Nino are still sleeping. Marinette and Adrien decided to make some pancakes and coffee. Marinette got started with the batter while Adrien started making everyone's coffee.

Adrien made Marinette an French vanilla, Alya and mocha, and him and Nino cappuccinos.

As Marinette was making the final pancakes Nino and Alya were awake. They got up to see Marinette and Adrien setting up breakfast on the table.

Alya: Awww! Thanks guys!

Alya said while hugging Marinette and Adrien.

Nino: Yeah thanks dudes, this is awesome!

Marinette: I can't take credit, it was all Adrien's idea.

Before Alya or Nino could say anything Adrien interrupted.

Adrien: But I couldn't have done it without Marinette.

He said while looking at her. Marinette and Adrien got lost into one another's eyes to only get interrupted by Alya. Alya started playing some happy music and started talking about the plans she had in mind for today.

Alya: Okay so I've got some ideas for today and we probably won't get interrupted anymore due to acuma attacks.

Alya had immediately realized what she had said and apologized to Adrien right away. Adrien quickly realized what Alya had said but told her not to worry.

Adrien and Marinette were both lost into another thought realizing that they had forgotten to do patrol last night. Hawk moth was gone but they had decided to meet up last night to talk about Adrien. While Alya was talking about the plans for the day Adrien and Marinette finished their breakfast as fast as they could. Once they were done they both made an excuse to go to their own bedrooms and transformed. Adrien went into his bedroom and closed the door while Marinette ran out the door with her keys.

Marinette: Tikki, I can't believe it I totally forgot about yesterday!

Tikki: What are you going to do now?

Marinette: I think I'm going to first transform and then call Chat Noir to apologize.

Tikki: That's a great idea!

Marinette transformed into Ladybug.

Adrien quickly closed the door behind him and Plagg came out of his hiding spot.

Adrien: I can't believe I forgot!

Plagg: I wanted to tell you but you had such a nice time with Marinette and also because I was eating sooooo...

Adrien: Come on Plagg!

Plagg: So what are you going to do now?

Adrien: I think I'll transform and then go on a lookout for Ladybug, she's probably mad at me...
