Moving On...

Part 5

They head over to Starbucks and buy their drinks. They wait for a bit and then Adrien says he'll go give the drink to Marinette himself since Alya has been wanting to go get some new shoes. Adrien finds Marinette paying for about three whole bags of stuff and starts laughing at her.

Adrien: You realize this was your first stop right?

Marinette: Yeahhh, I mean it's not that much right?

Marinette starts laughing with Adrien.

Adrien passes Marinette her drink and they decide to first go put the bags into their car before going into another store. Adrien decided to ask her about Chat Noir again since he now was wondering if she had actually meant all that she had said earlier this morning.

Adrien: So are you friends with Chat Noir?

Marinette: I guess you could say we're. Oh but please don't tell Alya she would go crazy!

Adrien: Don't worry I won't! So do you like to meet him somewhere?

Marinette: Well no, but he used to stop by at my balcony a lot when I lived with my parents. It was actually quite fun talking with him and took away all my worries. He isn't that bad once you get to know him.

Adrien: What do you mean?

Marinette: Well like on the outside he's very flirty like how he always calls me his lady and bugaboo but once you get to know him you see that there's a soft side to him as well.

Adrien: Wait a minute! I don't call you that I call ladybug that!

Adrien immediately covered his mouth!

Adrien was about to say something else before he realized that Marinette was too lost into her thoughts about Chat Noir. She not only confessed to him basically saying she is ladybug but she also didn't even realize. (We all know they aren't that smart so I thought I should include something that makes that statement true)

Marinette turned over to see Adrien freaking out and having a roller coaster of emotions.

Marinette: Ah I'm so sorry did I say something, I got so lost that I didn't even tell you what I said.

Adrien was debating whether he should tell her or not.

Adrien: Oh no I'm sorry it's nothing.

Marinette: Okay well then should we get going?

Adrien: Of course!

(Just in case you were wondering Tikki and Plagg were both at the apartments and not with them since Hawk Moth has been defeated.)

Through the day Adrien was starting to realize how everything made sense now while Marinette was worried that she might have said something she shouldn't have said.

Once they got back home Adrien and Marinette both said they had to go and freshen up a little bit and then that they were meeting up with an old friend. Once Adrien was in his room alone with Plagg of course he immediately started freaking out again!

Plagg: What happened kid? Are u even okay?

Adrien: I finally found m'lady!

Plagg: WAIT WHAT?!

Adrien: Well you see me and Marinette were talking about Chat Noir but then she mentioned how even though he was flirty on the outside and called her his lady and bugaboo he had a soft side.

Plagg: Did you even ask her? She could have just said that by accident!

Adrien: Yeah, but not unless she's friends with Ladybug because no one else knows that I call Ladybug m'lady and bugaboo!

Plagg: So wait do you think Marinette is ladybug? Or that she is a friend of ladybug?

Adrien: I don't know myself! Remember multi mouse?

Plagg: Oh yeah you got a point there!

Adrien: Wait can't you tell me? Please Plagg I know you know!

Plagg: No can do! If I do sugarcube will kill me!

Adrien: Ah looks like you have a girlfriend!

Plagg: No that's not true! Cheese is my true love!

With Marinette:

As soon as Marinette was alone with Tikki she started freaking out!
Tikki: What happened?

Marinette: IS CHAT NOIR ADRIEN?!

Tikki: WAIT WHAT?

Marinette: Well you see he kinda admitted it to me once I by accident did...

Tikki: MARINETTE!
Marinette: I didn't mean to, it kinda just came out! But he doesn't know that I know I was really lost into my thoughts and I only realized after I kept rethinking about what happened!

Marinette: I'm not even exactly sure I mean they could just be good friends because there's no way ADRIEN can be CHAT NOIR!

Tikki: Hmmm...

Marinette: Anyways, I'm going to meet Chat Noir tonight and I think maybe I'll find out the truth then...

Tikki: Yeah, that's a great idea!

Back with Alya and Nino:

Nino: I think Adrien might be falling for Marinette...

Alya: WHAT! You have no idea how long I've been waiting for this! How do you know?

Nino: Well while you two were dancing this morning I saw Adrien smiling and staring at Marinette. He even said something but I couldn't hear.

Alya: WOW it's about time!

Nino: Oh he was also very questionable about Luka sooo...

Alya: Ahhh! Should I tell Marinette?

Nino: Honestly I think we shouldn't...I mean maybe this time they might both fall for eachother themselves.

Alya: Ahhh fine but I'm so happy!!! Adrien has been so obvious for years!

Nino: I can't argue with that!

Alya and Nino both started laughing.

They all gathered in Marinette and Alya apartment this time and had dinner. They decided on some homemade pasta.

Once they were done Marinette and Adrien both left saying they were meeting an old friend.

They both transformed and then made their way to the Eiffel Tower.

Once Ladybug arrived she found Chat Noir sitting along the edge and looking out at the view.

Ladybug: *thinks* This is really it... What if he is Adrien?

Chat Noir sees Ladybug and motions her to come and sit next to him.

Ladybug smiles at Chat Noir and takes a sit next to him.

They both sat in silence for a while thinking about what to say.

Chat Noir & Ladybug: I've to ask you something!

They both start laughing.

Chat Noir: You go first M'lady.

Chat Noir realizes that this time Ladybug didn't roll her eyes at him for calling her his lady.

Ladybug: Are you friends with Adrien?
