Moving On...

Part 11

Waiter: Are you guys ready to make an order?

Adrien: Yeah, we'll have two plates of nachos for now.

Waiter: Okay, would you like any drinks?

Adrien looked around the table real quick as everyone nodded their heads.

Adrien: Sure, we would have five drinks!

Adrien, Nino, Alya, and Marinette had gone out together quite a bit now so he knew all their usual orders for drinks.

Adrien: We would like a Sprite (for Adrien), Mountain Dew (for Nino), Crush (for Alya), Diet Coke (for Marinette)

Luka: Diet Coke (for Marinette),

Adrien and Luka say at the same time.

Luka: and Pepsi (for Luka).

Adrien was annoyed at first but then shaked it off.

Marinette felt very awkward but then again to be fair she had been out with both of them quite a bit since she was close friends with both of them.

Luka wasn't sure how he was feeling but one thing was sure that he loved Marinette but he had to do what was best for her and would make her the happiest which was with Adrien. Now to do this he will have to make Adrien realize about his true feelings for Marinette since it's either that he loves her and doesn't know it or he's just the biggest flirt ever.

They started bowling once the drinks that their food arrived.

Marinette and Alya had both never been bowling but Luka had gone quite a bit with his friends from back home and Adrien and Nino and gone out with the boys (Max, Kim, and Ivan) a couple of times.

Adrien went first and got a straight strike. Alya went second but since she didn't know Nino helped her out. Luka got a straight strike and so did Nino after him. When it was Marinette's turn Luka and Adrien both offered to help.

Marinette: Um, it's alright I'll just get Alya to help me out!

Marinette said as she was starting to get uncomfortable. Marinette turned to Alya and Alya said she had to go to the washroom. Marinette went with her as well since she also "supposedly" had to go.

In the restroom with Marinette and Alya:

Alya: You okay girl?

Marinette puts her hands on Alya's shoulder and starts shaking her.

Marinette: HELP MEEE!

Alya immediately starts laughing.

Marinette: Hey! I'm in some serious trouble here.

Alya: Why didn't you just choose Adrien I mean you've had this huge crush on him?

Marinette: I'm sure that's what the old Marinette would have done but I don't know I've changed and so have my feelings for him...

Alya: LIES!

Marinette goes red.

Alya: I can read you like an open book and I know that you still have feelings for him.

Marinette: But what about Luka...

Alya starts to speak but then stops and then she decides to make a call.

Back to the table with Adrien, Nino, and Luka:

They all sit in awkward silence not knowing what to say.

Nino: So how's everything going with you Luka?

Luka: Oh everything's great. How about you?

Nino: Oh same here.

Everytime Nino tried to start a conversation it would not even last one minute and then his phone finally rang. Nino finally felt a little relieved and got up from the table saying that he got an important call.

On the phone:

Nino: Hey! What's up?

Alya: Okay so I need your help. Can you possibly make Adrien jealous a little by Luka?

Nino: Ummm I'll try, I've been trying to start a conversation for the last five minutes but it never even lasts a minute...

Alya: Oh my, poor you...

Alya said as she was trying to keep her laughter in.

Nino: Hey! It's so irritating no one even puts in the effort to talk.

Alya: Well then I wish you the best of luck!

Nino: Wait so all I have to do is try to make Adrien jealous of Luka?

Alya went into detail and explained the entire situation and how this plan could play out.

Marinette's eyes grew as she heard Alya speak on the phone.

Nino: Wow you truly are a genius!

Alya: I can when I want to be.

Alya said with confidence and laughter.

Nino rolled his eyes.

Once Alya hung up the phone she looked back to see Marinette staring at her in shock.

Back with the boys:

Nino came back to the table as he saw Adrien and Luka both on their phones.

Nino: So Luka how did you meet Marinette?

Luka: Oh I actually met her through my younger sister Juleka.

Nino: Oh Juleka! I know her. We all went to school with her!

Luka: Yeah she mentioned something like that to me earlier when I met Marinette for the first time.

Nino: So is that just how you and Marinette started hanging out?

Adrien was a little confused why Nino was asking questions about Marinette to Luka like it's not like they're dating?!

Adrien: *thinks* Wait a minute are they dating and does he just not know?

Luka: Well yeah kinda, I've played the guitar for her and then she asked if I could teach her. Eventually we just started to hang out and she still hasn't learned how to play the guitar properly.

Luka said while laughing a little.

Nino: Aw, that's cute.

Adrien was now just jealous like he's never been able to spend time alone with Marinette. Now he would have even lost his chance if he was right about Luka and Marinette dating.

Nino went on and asked questions to Luka and then they started having a conversation about Marinette.

Adrien started to get frustrated and was about to get up but just then Marinette and Alya came back and sat down.

Alya: Sorry we started having a conversation and didn't even realize we were in the restroom for so long.

Adrien: Ah no worries.

Nino: So Marinette you up?

Marinette: Yup!

Marinette went up and almost slipped but Luka caught her before.

Luka: Here, why don't I help you out?

Marinette: Thanks, Luka

Luka started by teaching her the basics.
