Rays of sunshine peered through the thin red cloth. You stirred from your slumber You opened a single eye, only to meet darkness. You choked on your saliva, as you sat up startled, only to hit something. You heard a groan come from the thing you hit, only to realise that you head butted a person.
You suddenly remembered where you were and why you had a red cloth covering your eyes. "Ah! I'm sorry!" You said, as you bowed your head slightly. You felt the red cloth moving from your eyes. Someone was removing it. Once it was completely removed, you were face to face with Papyrus, your faces inches away from each other. You had then noticed that you were laying in his lap. You quickly got off of him and moved to the opposite side of the car. "I'm so sorry!! D-did I fall asleep on you?"
Papyrus' skull was shaded a dark red, as he crawled over to you and taking off the cloth from your head. He nodded, his eye lights avoiding your gaze. "YOU FELL ASLEEP IN THE CAR. I TRIED TO MOVE YOU OFF OF MY LAP, BUT YOU KEPT ON MOVING BACK." You felt your cheeks getting hotter as you nodded slowly. "O-oh.. Well, I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to-"
"TCH. I-IT'S FINE. JUST DON'T LET IT. TO HAPPEN AGAIN." He scowled, clearly flustered. Your eyes widened as you began to tremble. Papyrus noticed this, and chuckled, before moving away from you, and extending his hand out to you.
You smiled at him to express your thanks, and took his hand with no hesitation. "Where are we?" You noticed Papyrus' eyes slightly lit up. "WE'RE AT A FAIR. ALPHYS, UNDYNE AND SANS WENT TO GO GET US TICKETS." You nodded and took in your surroundings.
Your eyes lit up with excitement, to Papyrus' amusement. The fair was rather big. Near the entrance was the stand to purchase tickets. Along side it was games and rides packed with people.
"Hey is Y/N awake- Oh you're awake sleepyhead!!" Undyne chirped as she rushed to your side, with a wide smile. Suddenly, that wide smile disappeared and was instead replaced with a scowl.
"YOU'RE SUCH A HEAVY SLEEPER, MY GOD! I COULDN'T WAKE YOU UP FOR AT LEAST TEN MINUTES!" She then gripped your shoulders and shook you hysterically. Papyrus had looked up from his phone to see Undyne shaking you and quickly rushed over to intervene.
Sans and Alphys followed after Undyne. While being shaken, you noticed that they seemed to be talking about something. Alphys seemed to be pestering him about something because he looking rather aggravated. You then noticed Sans had been looking at you. You shot him a glare, which made him shoot one at you in return. Alphys looked in the direction he was looking in and saw you. She smirked before noticing what Undyne was doing and scurried over.
"U-Undyne! Let them go!" Alphys ordered. Undyne blankly looked at her, and dropped you, making you roughly land on your butt. Your hands were slightly bruised and you slightly hissed in pain when you placed your hand in Papyrus'.
Papyrus huffed, yet extended his hand. You smiled meekly at him to reassure that you were alright.
"Okay, you guys can do whatever, I'll go with Y/N!" Undyne interrupted. Before you could intervene, she grabbed your hand. For a fish, she had rather warm hands. "Alright, let's go Y/N! Where should we go first?" She said, as she dragged you into the fair, leaving the other three to themselves.
"Uhh, are you sure that we should leave them on their own..?" You asked, still being dragged by the blue fish. "Don't worry, they'll be fine! Because if they destroy something, or break something, I'll break them.." Undyne muttered creepily, causing a shiver to go down your spine.
"Well, not Alph! She's a little sweetheart, although she may not seem like one.." A sneaky grin crept onto your face, as you both began to slow down. "Yeah, Alphys is pretty cool." You agreed, as you began to look around.
