A/N:

This isn't really a chapter, it's basically just Sans' perspective near the end of Chapter 27!
Before I start the chapter, I just wanted to say I appreciate you and all that you do :)
Please eat/drink/rest if you haven't today, you deserve so so much.

Sans' eyesockets shot open, only to be met with a darkness he was so used to.
So used to that he slowly allowed himself to get comfortable with the unfamiliar feeling that possessed his body after a nightmare.

Nightmares.
He hadn't had them in a while. Momentarily, he had thought they'd stopped.
But no.
He's not that lucky.

The resets played in his mind continuously.
It's so painful.
Blood that stained his oversized jacket, getting stuck in the white fur.
It stained his hands.
In some resets, where it was a genocide run, he would be the only person left in the underground.
The blood stained his hands. He could never remove it, no matter how many times he washed them.

He was so tired.
He didn't want to go through the resets.
He didn't want to see his brother die.
He didn't want to see people he knows die.

But that was all up to you.
You. What were you thinking?
You were so unusual to him.
You were sickeningly kind, it almost made his teeth rot.

He couldn't figure out what your motives were, or what you were trying to get out of all this.
Were you just waiting for the right moment to kill him? Kill them?

He looks over to you. His blanket is still hugged tightly over your body. His eye sockets softened at the sight of you.

He had to admit, you were pretty. And aside from some annoying aspects, you were kind.
He wasn't used to such kindness.
It was different.
It was a change that he didn't mind experiencing.

A part of him really did believe that you could help them.
But it couldn't be heard from the begs and pleas and demands that ordered him to ignore you, to keep his guard up, to never allow him a moments rest.

He'd done it before, and look where that got him.
No, you weren't to be trusted.
He couldn't trust you.
You could mainpulate time and resets as well.
Just like Frisk. That little thing.
Where was she anyways?
She's usually the one that falls down, why were you here in her place?
Out of all the resets, he had never met you in the underground.

Maybe there was more to it?
He rolled his eyelights.
Whatever.

He shouldn't have said it.
He shouldn't have done it.
This was his fault.
This was a problem he'd caused. Or you.
This was a problem you'd caused.
After all, you can reset.
This was your doing.

Pathetic.
To think that you shamelessly reset after exhanging such meaningful words as well...
He really thought you were better than that.

Not anymore.
