Naina was looking outside the window whereas Sameer was driving carefully when Sameer got a call.
Sameer: Naina dekho na kiska call hai??
Naina: Ji ek min....
She picked up the phone from the compartment and saw the call was from Dadaji.
Naina: Sameer ji, Dadaji call kar rahe hai.
Sameer: Speaker par dal do...
Hello haan dadu boliye....
Jaiprakash: Kahan ho tum dono abhi??
Sameer: Raste mein hai Dadu...
Jaiprakash: Sameer beta, woh kya hai Main, Vivek aur Poonam Jaya ko chodke mere ek dost ke yahan jagran mein aaye hai. Aur abhi Ramdhari ne phone karke bataya ki Vishakha, Prabha aur Kamlesh unke kisi dost ke yahan party mein gaye hai. Toh ghar par koi nahi beta. Tere paas chhabi toh hai na??
Sameer: Na....Haan Dadu hai.
Naina was shocked to see Sameer lying to his Dadu, as it is clearly written over his face that doesn't have the key.
Jaiprakash: Thik hai beta. Kal subah milte hai, tere aur bahu ke jaane se pehle hum laut aayenge.
Shubh ratri beta.Naina disconnected the call and stared Sameer as if he had grown horns. Sameer felt her gaze on him but didn't say anything and continued driving, he knew that there would be alot of questions in her mind which he has to answer and he would also. Now that she is his wife, she needs to know why the relations of Maheswari Family are broken. What Naina had understood till now was Sameer didn't like Vishakha and her brother and sister in law, but why?? She could see some resistivity from his side towards infact everyone but it was next to none when Jaiprakash, Jaya, Vivek and Poonam are infront of him. She wanted to know that how he was successful in hiding his feelings and emotions.
Naina was still in her reveries when she heard his voice. She turned around and saw that they are in Nariman Point. Now as it is night time, very less netizens were present there.
Sameer: Chalo, wahan baithke baat karte hai...
Naina nodded and both of them sat a little farther than the general crowd. Sameer looked at the crushing waves for sometime and then started with a deep breath.
Sameer: 10 saal ka tha main, jab ek din school mein peon ne kaha ki Papa aaye hai mujhe ghar lene. Main bahut khush hua tha kyunki mujhe school se half day ki chutti mili. Main maan hi maan mein kitna khush hogaya tha. Papa se pucha toh unhone kaha ki kuch puja hai, usse mujhe karna hai....
Jab ghar aaya toh.............Sameer choked and a lump formed in his throat remembering that fateful day. His eyes got misty and some tears rolled down too. Calming himself and gaining courage, he continued.
Sameer: Aaya toh Mumma zameen par bejaan padi huyi hai. Na unki aankhein khuli aur na hi unhone mujhe kuch kaha, Na unke muh se "Sameer aagaya beta" sunne ko mila aur na hi "Mera raja beta ❤️. Tum nahi hota toh mera kya hota.". Ek dum sab tham sa gaya mere liye. Agarbatti, phool, chandan, matka, hawan kund yeh sab dekhke mera dil zor se dhadakne laga aur jis baat ka daar tha wohi hua. Meri Maa mar chuki thi aur mere haathon se unhe mukhaagni deni padi. Mere upar se Maa ka saya uth gaya Naina 😭😭😭
Naina: Par Sameer ji, mummyji toh thi na. Phir aapko Maa ka pyaar kyun khoya khoya lagaa??
Sameer: Woh hoke bhi na hone ke barabar thi Naina. Mumma ke jaane ke kuch 2-3 hafte hogaye the jab Papa ne aake kaha ki woh mere liye nayi Mumma lane wale hai. Jab maine pucha ki koun hai woh, toh unhone Vishakha Aunty ka naam liya tab main bahut khush hua tha. Darasal Mumma, Papa aur Vishakha college mein dost the. Mumma Papa ke shaadi hone ke baad Vishakha Aunty humare ghar bahut aati thi, infact unhone mere saath bhi bahut time spend kiya tha. Par jab woh shaadi karke aayi toh bilkul badli badli aayi. Kuch samay tak mujhse berukhi rakhne lagi toh mujhe laga ki shayad unhe thoda time chahiye adjust hone ke liye. Main unse utni hi pyaar se baat karta jitni pehle karta tha. Par.......
