Chapter 14 Truth Comes Out

"Alright, everyone take a seat the meeting will be starting shortly" the Alpha announced into the microphone.

I sighed taking a seat in the front with my parents.

Everyone who were standing followed suit all gathering to their chairs. The Alpha and his son stood heading to the podium.

"Before we begin one of our members has asked to make an announcement." Alpha announced.

The crowed clapped as Adam stood and headed up the stairs to the stage. He quickly took the mic and looked at me. I felt myself tense.

What is he doing I linked Matt.

He didn't even look at me as he stared daggers up at his brother.

"Sam, I know that I'm not your mate, but we have been together for years and I know that i can make you happy. I know someday we will have to leave each other for our mates, but until that time comes will you make me the happiest wolf by saying yes to being my wife"

I gasped along with many people in the crowd. I opened my mouth to speak when a growl erupted from the crowd. I looked at Matt as he stood up angrily.

"YOU WILL NOT TAKE MY MATE"

Now everyone looked shocked. I sat frozen in my seat looking between the two brothers.

Adam looked at me for an explanation.

"I.... I.... I was going to tell you" I sputtered.

"How long have you known?" he whispered.

I held my breath "...5 days"

No one moved, no one even took a single breath.

"When were you going to tell me?"

"I- I was going to tell you t-tomorrow"

"LIES!!!"

I jumped back from him fear seeping through me.

"I- I was you can ak your brother." I whispered.

"Ah my brother, the pathetic excuse for a sibling, he's waited all his life to get you, guess his wish finally came true" Adam laughed bitterely.

I gulped as his turned into his wolves.

"...To bad he won't get to keep you."

My eyes widened as he shifted jumping on top of me. Screams filled the room and I gasped. I heard the tearing of clothes and realized it was mine.

"LET HER GO NOW!!!" The Alpha boomed.

Adam growled backing away from me. He looked around at everyone before leaping over the chairs and running out of the room.

I sat up shakily and looked at Matt. He rushed over wrapping his arms around me so tight  could barely breath.

"I'm ok" I whispered.

"I don't want you ever leaving my side again" he sighed.

"I won't" i mumbled.

A scream came from outside and I pulled away grabbing Matts hand and running outside.

As soon as i pushed the doors open my blood ran cold.

I WILL BE BACK  was written in blood.

Dead bodies lied next to it. Some people were injured and missing body parts.

"Don't worry, he won't get away with this" Matt whispered pulling me close enough so that i couldn't see the horrible scene anymore.
