Chapter 12 Getting ready for the meeting

"Um... One second" I called looking at Matt frantically.

He quickly looked around the room before nodding to himself, heading towards my bathroom. I nodded at him before putting my crop top and jean jacket back on. I gave him a quick peck on lips before shutting the door behind him.

Grabbing my perfume I quickly sprayed myself from head to toe, then sprayed the air for measure.

"Come in" I called.

The nob turned slowly and Adam came in. I smiled uneasily at him taking a seat on my bed.

"You were taking a while, your parents were worried"

"Oh ok"

He looked around my room and I shifted from foot to foot uneasily.

"Who's shirt is that?"

I looked over to the chair in the corner of my room silently cursing Matt.

"Eh, probably Matts, my parents let him use my bathroom, talk about gross" I lied.

"Ok, I'll take it with me when I go later, since we got to go to the meeting"

"You should go down, I'm just gonna freshen up a little" I smiled.

"Alright" Adam pecked my lips before leaving the room.

I locked the door behind me and went to the bathroom door letting Matt out of the bathroom smacking him on the back on the head.

"Ouch" he muttered rubbing th back of his head.

"You are so lucky I had an excuse" I hissed.

"I'm sorry, jeez" he sighed.

"Whatever, we have to get you out of here, the meeting is starting soon and we can't have you showing up like this your parents will suspect, now go"

Matt groaned, but walked over to my window.

"I'll come by later tonight"

I nodded pecking him on the lips before he climbed out. Sighing I went to the bathroom fixing my hair and reapplying my lip gloss.

Giving myself a quick one over I nodded in approvel, before exiting the bathroom and grabbing my shoulder bag.

Entering the living room I smiled uncomfortably at Adam, before looking towards my parents.

"I'm ready to go"

My parents nodded and we all headed for the door.

Matt stood there grinning as my father opened the door.

"Matthew" my mother smiled.

"Mrs. Knight I am so sorry to intrude but I forgot my shirt here last night"

"Oh, your welcome to get it we were just heading out to the meeting"

"Thank you" he grinned passing my parents, heading upstairs.

I stood there for a second, shocked.

"Sweetheart how about you go ask Matt if he would like to come with us" my father asked stiffly.a

I nodded quickly and went up to my room.
