As Gianna and I walked downstairs toward the dining hall, I was very aware of the members staring at her. Some of the members looked as if they didn't know how to react to her sudden change in rank while others were blatantly staring at their alpha who now could not keep his eyes off of her. I looked over at Gianna and I must say I was happy that some of the pack members' clothes that were given to me fit her, though I knew soon Matt and I would need to get our own clothes, as well as some for Gianna so there wouldn't be much conflict.

No one was sure what to make of the change, but I was confident that once Gianna ha reached her full potential as Matt and I's familiar then she would be snapped up by Alpha Silver Lake. I nodded at Alpha Silver Lake as Gianna and I walked past him and into the dining hall for breakfast. He barely registered a thing as he took a seat at the head of the table, watching Gianna and I sat on the opposite side of the table beside Matt.
I leaned over and gave my mate a peck on the cheek, before grabbing myself some eggs and bacon from the spread of food in the middle of the table. Matt had already placed a large abundance of food on his plate, and chowing down happily. Gianna, having never eaten at the main table, followed my actions hesitantly, taking as little of the food as possible.
"Gianna, please take some more food." Alpha Silver Lakes voice bounced around the room, causing a few members of the pack to look at him in shock. His voice was tentative and his face was soft and compassionate as he looked as his mate.
"Um, thank you Alpha." She sad, barely audible.
He tipped his head at her in acknowledgement, before quietly eating his own meal. Gianna reached for a few more spoonful of food, her plate becoming the same size as mine. I laughed quietly to myself and shook my head at her, before taking a few spoons of my own meal.

"Alright, Gianna, it's shopping time." I ginned, looking around the unfamiliar mall. Alpha Silver Lake had taken it upon himself to show Matt, Gianna and I to the mall and even given us each some money to spend, giving Gianna a tad bit more when he thought Matt and I were not paying much attention to the two of them.
The change from Ashton (A/N: Alpha Silver Lakes first name, since I don't think it was ever mentioned in previous chapters) was shocking to everyone in the pack, except Matt and I. We were the only two who knew about them being mates although he didn't know it and the fact that all it took was getting Gianna to no longer be at omega ran to bring them to together, then I guess so be it.
Though it wasn't my favorite way for a man to want to claim his mate, it was probably better than letting them both live without one another. I took Matt's hand in mine and looked back at Ashton and Gianna who were walking shoulder to shoulder behind us.
"I don't think we're needed anymore babe," Matt whispered, laughing in my ear.
"True, once he gets to know her, there's no way he can reject her." I smiled, giving them one last look, before dragging Matt into Victoria's Secret. I really didn't want to wear the underwear Silver Lake had given Matt and I.
