Newt...

"And there we got the builders," I said to the Greenie when we walked past the fighting group. I've been showing him around for a while now. "They're very good with their hands but not a lot going on upstairs," I said pointing towards my temple with a slight smirk.

"I take offense to that." I voice behind me chimed startling me a bit. I spun around to be met with Winter standing there. She didn't look thrilled by my earlier comment.

"Ay, h-hey Winter. You know I didn't mean you. I, um, you are the exception to the rule." I stuttered out with a shy smile, rubbing the back of my neck nervously. Winter rolled her eyes punching my shoulder lightly.

"Don't sound so nervous about it." She then turned to the Greenie and smile. "Hey, I'm Winter." He looked at the hand the girl in front of him offered him and took it with a smile.

"I...um don't really remember my name actually." Winter chuckled a bit at the way how embarrassed the Greenie was.

"That's fine, it'll come to you soon." She assured him and then turned to me crossing her arms over her chest. "Alright then mister second in command. Why don't you continue with the introductions, now that I set the things on the right track in the terms of intelligence."

"Oh, um, yeah, um...oh there we got Winston...he's the Keeper of the Slicers." I pointed towards the group where Winston was explaining something to the other Slicers. Conveniently enough Clint and Jeff passed by us giving me an opportunity to introduce them to the Greenie "And we got two med-jacks, Clint and Jeff."

"Hey, what's up?"

"Yo, Newt. Winter."

"They spend most of their time bandaging up the Slicers." Winter pointed out with a shrug. We stopped and both of us looked at the Greenie in front of us.

"What if I want to be a runner?" He asked determined. Why are there still these enthusiasts that want to get themselves killed? Half of the Runners were forced into that job. Except for Minho, Summer, and Ben.

"Why would you want that? Those people are crazy." Winter remarked with a smirk and I nodded agreeing.

"Have you listened to a word I've just said? No one wants to be a runner." I said shaking my head slightly. He looked like he wanted to say something but I stopped him "And, besides, you gotta get chosen." I added.  The Greenie pulled on a confused face.

"Chosen by who?"

"By me!" A cheery voice yelled from next to me causing all of us to jump in shock. We looked next to us to see Summer standing next to us with a wide smile across her face.

"Why didn't I expect that?" Winter grumbled to herself shaking her head. Clearly not fazed by the actions of her sister.

"Bloody hell Sunny," I scolded the girl while my hand covering the part of my chest where the heart is supposed to be. Well, mine is beating so fast that it might jump out of there.

"Sorry." She smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I smiled a bit but then got back to reality when I saw the Greenie staring at my girlfriend. He definitely isn't a fast learner.

"Every Runner needs to get chosen by Summer and Minho personally and both of them need to agree on him," I explained sneaking an arm around the slim waist of my girl.

"Oh, I'm Summer by the..." Before Summer could finish her sentence, one of the boys from the fighting circle was pushed our way colliding into the Greenie. He stumbled forward and I pulled both Summer and Winter out of the way so he won't crash into them. "...way. Hey, I was talking to him."
