After staring at each other for quite some time, I offered him to take a seat on the chair outside the balcony.
Iisa lang ang upuan doon, kaya nagkatinginan kami. I went straight to the railings and places my elbows on it, still facing Cole who's now slowly walking towards me.
"Upo–"
"No. If you won't sit then I won't," he cut me off and placed both of his hands on both of my sides, practically locking me inside.
I faked a cough and looked away. Ang lapit niya sa akin. Hindi ko nga alam kung nakakahinga pa ako ng maayos.
He bent down as he smirked. He's teasing me!
I tilted my head to the side and shut my eyes. I don't know how to react. He's really close to the point I could feel his breath on my neck which made me shiver.
Saka ko lang napansin na malamig pala. Well, it's almost midnight.
"You look stunning..." he said in a low voice.
Namula naman ako kasabay ng pag bilis ng tibok ng puso ko.
"W-Why are you here? At saka, paano ka nakaakyat dito?" I tried to change the subject. One, I don't know how to accept a compliment, and two, I'm also curious about how he got here.
Napasulyap naman ako sa baba. My room is on the second floor, there was no ladder or something, but he still manages to go up?
"I just wanted to see you. Sabi ko nga 'di ba? Maghihintay ako..." He cupped my face and tried to make me look at him, and I did. I didn't want to seem coward in front of him. "Your eyes are so powerful to the point it got me to where I am now." He smiled as if he was contented.
I looked straight in his eyes to see his pained look before, but it wasn't there. He seemed contented and delighted. I couldn't help but smile. Am I the one who made him happy?
"I don't know what to say... I'm sorry for leaving you behind o-on your birthday." My voice sounded really sincere that I know he felt that it came from my heart.
"Mahilig ka talaga ag walk-out pag birthday 'no? Ginawa mo rin 'yon kay Lex! Akala ko nga rin ay ba-basted-in mo 'ko agad!"
He seemed happy talking about it. Napailing na lang ako.
"And why would I do that?" I raised my brow.
"Kasi 'di mo 'ko gusto-wait," he paused. "Gusto mo nga pala ako!" He chuckled and let go of the railings on both of my sides. Napabuntong hininga naman ako dahil pakiramdam ko ay matagal akong nakakulong doon.
"Ang kapal mo! Who told you I like you back?!" Ngumuso ako at hinampas siya.
"You don't like me, Amethyst. You love me!" he said as he emphasized the word "love".
Napairap naman ako at kinagat ang labi ko. I was trying to stifle my smile.
"Whatever! Feeler ka lang! Why don't you go home? Puyat lang 'yan!" Tinulak-tulak ko siya paloob ng kwarto ko, para makadaan siya sa pinto. I wouldn't let him go if he'll go home by getting out of my room through the balcony. Baka hindi sa bahay ang punta niya kung hindi ay sa ospital na.
"Sa balkonahe lang-"
"Shut up! It's dangerous. Ihahatid na kita sa baba. Did you bring your car?" I said as I still pushed him outside of my room. Buti naman at naging masunurin siya at siya na mismo ang sumunod sa akin. But he had this playful smile on his face.
"Ayyy concerned ang Amethyst ko!" Sinundot-sundot niya ako sa baywang ko.
Sinamaan ko lang naman siya ng tingin. He completely ignores my question!
