I'm not sure how long it has been, but I'm sure that it's more than a year now.
For the past year, I've seen them a few times. The longer time passes by, the more successful and well-looking they become.
Hindi man kami nagpapansinan, alam ko sa sarili ko na proud ako sa kanila, at makita lang silang masaya ay okay na ako.
Every time I see people surrounding them, I immediately hide, so they wouldn't see me. I could see that they are content and happy right now, and I don't want to ruin that.
The only person that stayed with me is Roxie. I told her to not even mention Inkx, but Roxie being herself, sometimes, she forgets it. She's even a fangirl of Inkx now. She always goes to their concert to support them, and I stay home. I watch Inkx's concert at home, but of course, Roxie doesn't know that.
Also, her relationship with Aaron has been a success. They've been dating for almost a year now. Lagi nga namin nakakasama si Aaron eh, and mind you, he always mentions Inkx to piss me off.
He even said that I let go of a gem. I know that for a fact, but I don't really mind my loss. I'm just proud of what the Inkx has become.
Enough of them.
Marami kompanya ang kumukuha kay Roxie, at ang tinanggap niya ay ang offer ng kompanya namin. Of course, she loves my parents as much as they love her. It's not a biased choice because Roxie also gives beautiful performances.
She's even in demand in the states for being a back-up dancer for some worldwide idols, but Roxie declined and said that she wanted to start from the bottom and work her way up. Sabi niya, gusto niya raw magpatayo ng dance studio, kaya ngayon nag-iipon na siya.
"Courtney! 'Di ka pa tapos diyan?"
Napalingon ako kay Roxie nang tinawag niya ako.
"Wait!" I told her and hurriedly finished filling up my requirements.
We are now enrolling for college, and I just had mine filled up. Tinignan ko pa kasi kung paano ginawa ni Roxie. It's my first time enrolling for myself. I've been asking Mommy to do it for me, but now that I have Roxie with me, I didn't really mind going with her.
"Nagmamadali ka ata? You know this is my first time," I said as I walked towards Roxie while putting my pen inside my bag.
"May date ako, ano ba!" kinikilig niyang sabi. Inirapan ko siya.
"Uuwi na 'ko kung gano'n."
She sighed and stomped her foot. "Ano ba! You can join us! Parang iba ka pa sa amin ni Aaron eh. Sabi ko kasi sa 'yo, mag move-on ka na!" She laughed at me and teased me.
Sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin at kinuha ang susi ng kotse ko at naglakad na kami papuntang parking lot.
She's been very nosy, and so, I admitted that I like Cole. Just like. Then she went nuts. So every time she has the chance to tease me, she seized that moment every damn time.
"I've moved on, you know," I said as I was also trying to convince myself.
Binuksan ko na ang pintuan ng kotse ko. Buti na lang at magkahiwalay kami. Nasanay din kasi akong laging umaalis si Roxie, kaya hindi na ako nag-aabalang sumabay sa kanya.
"Sino'ng niloloko mo, Courtney? Sarili mo lang! Move on daw. Sige, tignan natin ngayong college na tayo!" Humalakhak siya na parang sinasaniban. Umiling na lang ako at pumasok na sa kotse ko.
"Whatever..." I muttered to myself.
What I feel now is not important. I may still love him, but that doesn't mean he loves me still too.
