Napalingon ako sa kanya. Nakahilig lang ang siko niya sa mga binti niya habang seryosong nakatingin sa kawalan.
"Hey!" tawag ko sa kanya pero hindi siya kumibo.
Nilapag ko na ang ice pack sa maliit na lamesa at ngumuso.
"Kainis ka! Hindi ka naman pala nakikinig! I wasted my efforts!" Humalukipkip ako.
Napakurap siya at binalingan ako ng tingin. "Ano nga 'yon?" he asked teasingly.
"Wala! Kainis ka!"
"Gusto lang naman kitang pasayahin..." he snorted.
Kumunot naman ang noo ko. "Iniinis mo lang ako!" Pinalo ko siya sa braso niya.
"Aray!" Tumawa siya. "Oo nga pala... ako 'yong nasisiyahan sa 'yo," he said in a straight face and an eyes full of emotions. Sinamaan ko naman siya ng tingin.
"Huh?"
"Huh?" he acted innocent but was mocking me.
"Ano'ng pinagsasasabi mo riyan?" takang tanong ko.
"Wala! Eto, may iniisip na iba! Sabi ko ang saya ko pag iniinis kita!" He laughed again. Saka ko lang napagtanto na pinipigilan ko pala ang paghinga ko. I sighed.
"Saan kayo nanggaling?" bungad sa amin ni Chris pagkauwi namin. Cole told me that he already texted the others that we're together because of an emergency.
Hindi ko alam kung ano'ng sinabi kiya, pero buti at hindi nagtaka sina Alex.
Nauna na kami ni Cole sa bahay. The boys will have somewhere to be so they'll be home late. Cole called off the practice. Hindi ko rin naman sila magagabayan, I am in no condition to do so.
Napatingala ako kay Chris. I couldn't see Chrome anywhere though.
"Nothing." Iniwas ko ang tingin ko. "I'm going to my room now," sabi ko at nilagpasan na sya.
My cheeks are not swollen anymore, but my tummy hurts still. Napalakas ata ang pagkasipa nila sa akin.
I heard Cole talked to Chris as Chris was asking what happened. I made Cole promise to not tell them anything, and he promised. But I doubt that he'll keep it.
I heard a knock on my door. Katatapos ko lang maligo at magbihis.
I head to the door and opened it. It was Chrome.
"What happened? Chris told me you're weird than usual," he asked in a concerned tone. He was frowning. I'm pretty sure he knows by now that there is indeed something wrong.
Napaiwas ako ng tingin. "Come in..."
Umupo ako sa kama ko habang siya ay naupo sa swivel chair ko.
"Tell me what happened..."
Napapikit ako. I know I could trust him, but once he's mad, there is no stopping him. Mas nakakatakot siyang magalit kaysa kay Chris.
Not that I really saw them that furious.
"I-I..." Napabuntong hininga ako. Here it goes. "I got... bullied..." halos hindi na marinig ang boses ko sa sobrang hina.
Halos napatayo siya sa kinauupuan niya. His jaw clenched as he cracked his neck. He looked mad!
"Sino?"
"You don't need to know. I'm fine..." I tried to soothe him. Convince him that everything is fine.
"Sino?!" he demanded.
"It was Bianca and her gang!" bulaslas ko.
Agad lumipad ang kamay ko sa bunganga ko. I didn't need to say that damn!
