I was breathing heavily. Naiinis na ako. Ilang rings na 'yon? Why doesn't he just answer his phone?

He was sleeping and I woke him up?

"What the heck, Atlas Dariel? It's been years at 'yan lang ang sasabihin mo?!" I snapped.

May narinig akong kalbog sa kabilang linya. Don't tell me he's shocked to hear that?

I'm the only person who calls him by his first name, for sure he already knows that it's me who's calling.

"C-Courtney?!" gulat na tanong niya sa kabilang linya.

"Yes, Atlas. It's me." I smirked though he really couldn't see me because we're just talking through the phone.

"Courtney? Ikaw nga! It's been ages! What are you calling for? Tara at mag celebrate tayo! Courtney talking to people again I see?" he teased.

It's been years and he's still acting like a child.

"Come on, dear cousin. I need to ask for your help."

Isa si Atlas sa mga pinsan ko. He's living here in this city alone. Nasa Davao kasi talaga ang pamilya namin. He is the son of Daddy's older brother. Apat kasi silang magkakapatid, Atlas's dad, Tita Precilla, Daddy, and Tito Skyler.

Tito Skyler was the one who fetch us in Davao.

"So the reason my great cousin is calling me is because of some favor?" I heard him laugh. "Where is this favor? I should thank it! Dapat dati ka pa may favor sa akin e!"

Napailing na lang ako. He's still the same.

"Funny, Atlas. Buti nga 'di mo pinalitan ang number mo?" I asked.

"Yeah... umaasang tawagin pa 'ko ng ex ko rito..." he paused. "Joke!"

Napairap naman ako. He's laughing hard. Wala namang nakatatawa. He's crazy. Kaya hindi na binalikan e.

"I don't have time to play silly games with you, Atlas. I just need to ask. You're one of the coordinators for the arena, right?" I made sure. I know that he knows someone and hired him to be one of the coordinators.

"Yeah... Don't tell me you'll perform again?!" gulat na tanong niya.

"That's not it! I won't ever perform again, Atlas. You know that. Anyways, can I bring my guys tomorrow? Let's say one to six in the afternoon. Does that sound good? We can move it if it'll be occupied tomorrow."

Tumingin ako sa mga paa ko at nagpapadyak-padyak. I'm getting bored.

"Ay..." ramdam ko ang pagkakabigo sa boses niya kahit na nasa kabilang linya lang siya at hindi ko nakikita. "'Yon lang ba? Sure I can arrange it for you. But bring your own equipment, okay? Sa'min na ang speakers."

I smiled. I knew it!

"Sure! Thank you, Atlas Dariel!" I happily said.

"No problem to our only girl!" he laughed. Napailing na lang ako. I have no other cousin that is a girl, kaya alagang-alaga talaga ako dati. That was before I shut my self to the world. "I'll visit you tomorrow. Magkita na lang tayo roon. You know I got you right? I missed you, Courtney."
