EVELYN'S POV-
My mom asked me to prepare all the things that I will need tomorrow. I am done with everything. Got my new uniform, it's not classy as big schools' uniforms but I am going to feel comfy and good wearing it. I know I have prepared everything for tomorrow but facing him. I have no idea how things are going to turn out from tomorrow. Regardless of what he did to me in our past, I don't wish bad for him. My heart always wants him to be happy. Even if he doesn't want to stay in good terms with me, I won't mind but it would hurt a little? Not little, much hurt.
The caller tune of my phone makes me snap out of my thoughts. I moved close to my phone as my eyes fell on the screen displaying a call from an unknown number.
"Hello, my dear Evelyn!", I heard from the other side just as I received the call. I can assure this is a familiar voice.
"Who is this?", I asked.
"Did you forget my voice, sweetheart? I am your friend, Lexi", she replied. What the hell? Now what is her intention? Is she really being good to me or just a play of her evilness?
"Are you there?", I heard from her. I got lost in my thoughts and didn't answer her.
"Yes, for what this call is?", I ask her.
"I heard that you took admission in a very blemish school", she says in very mocking tone. I tried to be cool and not affected by her words.
"That's a good school. I would love to study there", I replied her.
"Ofcourse you will love studying there as that school suits you a lot, haha!", my temper raised as I hear her saying that. What does she think of herself?
"If you don't have anything more to say then I will hang up",I replied trying to calm down myself. I don't want to hear her shitty words. How badly I urge to slap her right now!
"Cool down. She's a wicked and she will be. It's of no use fighting with her. Just let it go", my inner self pleads me.
I think this is a short chapter but hope it's okay?
Thank you!
