EVELYN'S POV-

"But dad, why don't you understand?" I bursted out crying.

"I will never let you love that poor bastard." Rage flowed through him like lava.

"I LOVE HIM. Won't you ever respect my love? Just for the sake of parenthood, please. I request you." Tears escaped my eyes followed by my fist meeting the wall.

He became silent for a moment and I just kept looking on the floor as my eyes couldn't bear looking at his eyes. I went out of words and convincing dad was harder than I actually thought.

Some minutes passed and I finally lifted my head up to see him. I guess my words had just hit him like stones. I finally collected some guts and spoke in a well manner.

"I know why you did that. Because you were in love with my mom. Everyone makes mistakes. That's understandable. But please try to solve it. You used a wrong way. Yes, it's good that you helped them financially. But it's completely wrong to control them. You were equally wrong with his mom. Why to judge people on the basis of their wealth? You have committed a big mistake and the only way to solve it now is to accept Evan and his mom. Just be good to them forgetting whatever happened in the past. Alright?" I just spoke these words soulfully with a high expectation of getting back a positive answer.

He still remained silent. After some time, he finally spoke.

"Evelyn, thank you for making me alright. You are such a precious daughter to me. I know I was committing a mistake. But I was too bounded by business and how to gain profits. I ordered them to go from here just because I was afraid if they would tell you about my sin and you will start hating me."

"Oh,no dad. I accept it was your mistake but I am more interested in letting go the past now."

"I will try my best to." He cupped my face giving a smile when his eyes were still teary.

After that talk with dad, my soul felt so light. A sense of relief passed through my adrenaline. Thinking about everything that happened from the past to today's date, I guess all happened because they were meant to be. Life is never a straight path. Life is full of ups and downs. You will have to get through many twists and turns. And if there is love, then there will loss too. You can't just live a life that's so fine. Experiencing things makes life better. It would not be worth experiencing if it weren't just that. You can't have the good without the bad, you need to somehow learn to accept the bad and adjust it in a way that you can.

Mistakes help us learn the existing theory of life between good and bad. Sometimes, a mistake may seem too good to approach. But at the same time, may be too dreadful to even think about in your wildest dreams. I know dad made a mistake and it's still hard to accept that. Nonetheless, we have to let it go so that we can live a better future.

We could have this conversation because mom wasn't at home. She went out with her friends and that's why it became possible. But she has to know one day. You can't hide things for a long time. And better than hearing it from someone else's mouth, I would say that dad should tell her by himself before it's too late.

I decided to tell him and walked to him. I saw him sitting in the bedroom which has been my favourite. It's radiates the golden theme. Mom and dad's warm couchette that is of golden color is so attractive. The golden wall behind it has 'Mr. and Mrs. Ellen' written over it. Mom and dad's love story is absolutely remarkable regardless of the fact that he was caught having sex with another women. I don't know why he did this.

I spotted dad sitting on the huge golden chair closing his eyes and laying his head on the chair. Everything that happened might be too hectic for him.

"Dad" I called him.

"Come in" He replied me.

"How do you plan to explain all these to mom?" I asked him trying not to put much pressure.

"I still don't have guts to do that." My heart has wrenched listening this. I feel sorry for him.

"Everything will be fine." I tried to make him happy.

Just as I heard footsteps coming towards the bedroom, I saw mom looking so gorgeous in her off shoulder shimmer and shinny dress that's violet in color. A beautiful smile is on her face looking me and dad together. Because she does not know the reason why we are here.

"Wow, I wonder what you both were talking in my absence." She joked that led to a a laugh in three of our faces.

"Welcome back home." Me and my dad said her simultaneously.

"How do you consider going out for dinner, honey?"Dad asked mom.

"But,I just had fun outside with my friends." Mom said trying to deny his invitation.

"No problem, now have fun with your husband and daughter."Dad told trying to rejoice her.

"Will someone ask for my opinion too?" I interrupted them rolling my eyes.

"You never said no to outings dear." Dad made fun of me and mom gave out a loud laugh. I wonder how they can tease me so much.

"Come, Evelyn darling. It's mom and daughter's time to get ready,yay!" Mom suggested charmingly.

"Yeah,let's go." I got up and followed her when I saw dad letting out a smile looking at us.

We all got ready and waited for our driver to bring the car. And then, started our way to the hotel.
