I have been abused
I repeat I HAVE BEEN ABUSED
I don't mean physically don't get confused
But listen to me my words will have you consumed
Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt
This line in my eyes is a lie
Words penetrate in all ways dispersed
Some make you want to fly and others die
Imagine being called weak by people who are to help you
Thinking it'll encourage but made you grab tissue
Think that saying it was a joke will fix the issue
But never feel the mental breakdown you go through
Pushing forward as each word hit
Everyone stares saying they will help but don't
They aren't walking down that continuous hallway where i want to quit
Don't tell me you gave me when you won't
Imagine thinking everyone wants to hurt you
Because your so messed up in the head
So much stress from the pass you never forgave it made me blue
Wishing life was better but it's just bad instead
They told me they loved me and left me
They called me friend but alone i am
Constantly saying sorry because it's all i know
Thinking I'm the problem everytime so i stay to myself in the shadow
They called me gay because of how i look
They called me ugly because of how i look
They called me weak because i don't work out
They told me i can't be a man because i wasn't raised by one
Words hurt they abuse a lot of us
If you think they don't you are treasonous
I have been abused
