Vanishing Voices
Sitting in silence
Headphones in watching everything pass by
Closing the eyes trying to keep diligence
Even tho the voices are screaming die
Trying to block them out
But they get louder and louder
Can't eat can't sleep going on a energy drought
As the inside of head blows like a flounder
Things moving in circles
No one else sees it like that
Watching the life slowly disappear like sand castles
Sadly can't live 9 lives like a cat
Music flowing from ear to ear
Hoping it'll ease a bit of the pain
Wishing they wouldn't ask so there would be no answer such a fear
Answer would be so deep you'd also see the rain
Gets up as the headphones come off
They all stare wondering what's next
The noise is too loud so just yell in the cloth
Not working at all so time for the never ending rest
The nods of approval all around
Walks forward with no snap
As they watch the struggle there was no sound
They all begin to disappear as he takes his never ending nap
