Chapter 2

* Louis POV*

As soon as she saw me tears began to free-fall down her cheeks. I opened my arms, beckoning her to let them hold her.

She rushed forward with a sob, now laying against my chest. I held her tightly. Her fast-coming tears now making a wet spot on my grey jumper. Her sobs muffled by my chest. She soon began to quiet down. I know she was as tired as I was.

"I'm sorry. I'm always jealous, I'm sorry."

I nodded at her words, "Let's not fight."

"Not anymore, no more." She mumbled.

She buried her head in the crook of my neck, and into the pillow under me. Her breathing evened out and I knew she had nodded off. I wish we could stay like this. Peaceful, no fighting. I wish I could freeze this moment, or guarantee every other would be just like this. I wish it would, but I knew it wouldn't . All I could do was cherish it now...

*Hailey's POV*

I woke up in our bedroom. in Louis' arms again. I nuzzled my nose against his chest, taking in his scent. I pushed myself up onto my elbow to look over Lou to look at our clock. We'd slept through the day, as it was already 4pm. I looked at the mass of untamed hair that was Louis, it covered his face. He began to stir, and I knew I had woke him up with my movement.

I saw his hand raise and brush his hair out of his face. His eyes fluttered open, and I was greeted by his baby blues. He smiled and pushed himself up. His eyes wandered on my lips before smiling. He leaned in and kissed me.

"Good morning," he said contently. His eyes didn't look as tired anymore. They were more lively and bright, like the Louis I fell in love with.

"It's nearly nighttime Lou," I giggle, pushing myself all the way up and leaning against the back of the bed.

"Well in that case," he said with sudden attentiveness, "Let's go."

"Go where?" I asked confused.

"Out. We're going out. I'm taking you out to wherever you want to go. I'm taking you on a date, because you deserve it," he said winking at me.

"Well I don't know where I'd want to go Louis," I said.

It was half true. Where I really want to be was right here with Lou. Maybe watch a few movies and be in his arms, but I couldn't reject him. He seemed very excited to be taking me out. It would be our first date together in a while.

"How about you surprise me?" I suggested.

He thought for a moment before grinning again.

"I know exactly where we going. We're going out to eat at-"

"Lou! It's a surprise remember?"

"Oh yes right, sorry." He said, quickly getting out of bed.

"But what you can do is tell me what I should wear. I don't want to show up in a gown if we're going to Nandos," I joked.

"I can assure you we are NOT going to Nandos," He said cheekily.

"Dress up nice but not too fancy," He said. "Where that dress I got you last Christmas," He suggested.

I knew what he was talking about. it was a black fitting dress, maybe mid-thigh length. The back had a diamond cutout that showed my lower back. It was gorgeous to say the least.

"Hurry up now don't want to be late," He said picking me up and placing me on my feet.

"Yes captain sassy," I said.

He rolled his eyes, "I just want tonight to go as planned."

"I know," I said pecking his lips. "Now hurry up don't want to be late," I ordered imitating him, smiling cheekily.

"Yes ma'am." He said heading towards our bathroom.

I was excited for tonight, so I set off to get ready.

Tonight would be good, I hoped.
