Chapter 12

“I didn’t know it was you! You were the same size as my wolf. Usually females are smaller!” he yells. I turn into the woods and strip out of my clothes and shoes and shift. I go back out an Damien is shifted to I walk up to him and see that we are the same size. ‘Did you know that I’m next in line for alpha?’ I ask him in his head. He looks shocked. ‘But you can’t be you have to move into my pack. Your my mate,’ he says.

 I turn around head back to my clothes and shift back and get dressed I look at the window and see that I look just how I did this morning. Thank god it didn’t change anything. Mom would kill me. I start walking back to the party ,but he stops me....again. “Let go of me! I am graduating I want to be there with my friends having fun! Not dealing with this crap!” I yell

I guess my father overheard and came over to see what was going on. “What’s going on here?” he asks. Oh lookie there I was right. “Nothing,” I mumble. “I’m sorry ,but who are you sir?” Damien says looking down being respectful to the alpha.

“Alpha Conwell,” he says. He changed his last name back after we became a family again. I look at Damien. He looks confused as hell. “But...how thats Elizabeths last name?” Damien says. My father nods and says, “thats because I am her father. Also I think we should get back to the party and we can talk later at the my house,” my father says starting to lead me back to the party with Damien following.

I have fun with my friends until the party ends. I say my goodbyes and go to find my family. Jane is there with Dylan and Damien is there with my father and mother talking. “What the?” I ask confused. “I explained everything to Damien and I don’t know what we are going to do about the alpha thing. I know you want to be alpha ,but I also know you want to be with Damien. Are you comfortable in that outfit?” he asks.

I nod and say, “I want to take a run I haven’t gotten to yet this week and my wolf is begging to get out.” She is she keeps trying to push to get out. My father nods and says meet us at the pack house. Damien’s parents shall be meeting us there out in the backyard.” I nod and have my mom follow me to the woods so I can strip and she takes my clothes.

 I shift and shake out my fur. Its a light brown and I kept my emerald eyes while I shift. I start running through the woods in random directions till my wolf is finally satisfied. I run towards the pack house and sure enough my parents, Damien, and his parents are all there. They see me walk through the tree line.

‘Can I stay in my wolf form?’ I send a message to my father. He nods and I go on the porch and lay down in between Damien and my father. Damien scratches behind my ear while my dad starts the conversation. “Well my daughter and your son have mated we all know this ,but our daughter and son are both next in line for alpha.” Damien’s parents gasp about that last part.

“Also my son can not shift so Eli is the only one I can pass the pack to without causing a uproar. So what will we do about this?” my father asks. ‘Can I go take another run to think?’ I ask my father. He nods and I get up. Damien sends me a confused look and I just ignore it and walk down the steps. The porch is huge for probably like 10 of us in our wolfs to fit so I had no trouble getting through.

I start running around until another wolf comes. I don’t recognize and immediately I go into defense form. ‘Do you know him?’ my father asks. ‘No I do not. Do you?’ I reply ‘No. Disable him so I can get information and to show how strong you are.’ my father says in his alpha voice. Immediately once the wolf is a couple feet away from me. I lunge for his front paw ,but he dodges. I walk around him and he goes for my paw ,but instead I jump onto its back and he falls to the ground.

I bite into one of his back paws and snap the bone. Doing the same to the other. I get off of him knowing he can’t move without pain. I stay there not wanting to change back and guard him while my father comes over and orders for him to turn back. He does and immediately I know who it is.

‘Jacob??!!’ I scream into his head. I walk over and sit down. “Wait you mean this is Jacob the guy you were dating before your mother moved you closer to the pack?” my father asks. I nod. “Go shift Eli. We got stuff to talk about.” my father orders. I run inside to the spare closet made for people still in wolf form and needing to shift.

I quickly shift and get dressed in jeans and a black t-shirt with black converse. I run back out and over to Jacob. Hey! Its not like I don’t have any feelings for him anymore just because I found my mate. I do....a lot still. “Jacob? What are you doing here?” I ask getting over to him and kneeling down.

“My father sent me to give you a message. He said, ‘I want the girl. She shall be my sons mate because she is the strongest female in the whole world in her wolf form’. That is exactly what he said and I agree because he is my father.” Jacob says. Wait who is the girl? “Who’s the girl?” and as soon as I said it I knew the answer.

“You,” Jacob replies. WHAT???!!!!!!!!!! I will not be told what to do. I grab him by the throat. “No one tells me what to do! Also I will never be your mate I already got one!” I yell. “Elizabeth, calm down. Now!” my father orders. I realize I’m shaking and let go of Jacob and stand up and go over to Damien.

He puts his arm around my waist and I calm down a little bit. I realize Jacob is getting up. How the? I look at his legs there healed. What the? “How are you healed,” I command with my alpha voice. “I am a faster healer then others,” Jacob says. He walks over and grabs my wrist and says, “your coming back with me. Or your mate gets it,” with a little snicker on the word mate. I turn around a 2 men are coming up behind Damien.

I immediately shift shredding my clothes and start running at the 2 wolves. I bite into ones leg and jump on the others back and bite into his neck killing him. I turn back around and the other wolf has regained his feet. I run over and jump onto his back when he is trying to get to a worried looking Damien.

Why is no body shifting besides me. They all loom like there confused. I kill the other wolf and turn around theres a army of wolves. Oh shit! ‘Go!!!! Go into the house and don’t come out!’ I yell into there heads using my alpha voice. Immediately they head for the house knowing they have to obey me.
