Chapter 13

I start running towards Jacob ,but theres I realize theres a whole army completely surrounding me. I look at the house making sure there all in there ,but there not. There watching me worriedly. ‘HELP!!!!!’ I scream into there heads when they start to enclose on me. Nobody moves ,but Damien. My father stops him though. What the?

“We’ll get her back Damien. We are outnumbered right now,” I hear my father say to Damien. They start inching closer. I panic and start sprinting across the grass and over a smaller wolf’s head. I start running as fast as I can into the woods hoping everyone will be okay.

Damien’s P.O.V.

Elizabeth comes out running towards Jacob.  “Jacob what are you doing here?” Eli asks. She kneels down and he says, “My father sent me to give you a message. He said, ‘I want the girl. She shall be my sons mate because she is the strongest female in the whole world in her wolf form’. That is exactly what he said and I agree because he is my father.”  I know its Eli as soon as he said she was female. I fight to keep my growl in. She is not your mate she’s mine!

“Who’s the girl?” Eli asks. “You,” Jacob says. He can not have her! She is mine! Eli grabs Jacob by the throat. “No one tells me what to do! Also I will never be your mate I already got one!” Eli yells. She needs to calm down. “Elizabeth calm down. Now!” Alpha Conwell says.

Eli gets up and comes over to me. I put my arm around her and feel her calm down slightly. Jacobs legs are completely healed. I guess when I wasn’t paying attention Eli asked how he was healed so quickly and he answered ,but I didn’t hear.

I don’t know what is going on when Eli shifts shredding her clothes. Why the hell is she shifting?  All of a sudden Eli starts running at me and I become confused. When Eli jumps past me biting into one wolfs leg and killing the other one. She goes and kills the other one when he is coming at me again.

I look around and theres a whole bunch of wolves. I’m about to shift when Eli screams into m head with her alpha voice,” Go!! Go into the house and don’t come out.” No matter how much I didn’t want to I had to because of her alpha voice. I immediately go onto the porch not being able to keep going. I turn around and everyone is watching Elizabeth.

She’s sprinting and then leaps over one of the wolves. She starts running into the forest. No one follows her. “Grab the family. She will do whatever we say if we have her family. I immediately shift and start running into the woods. I realized that everyone else did the same. Finally when my body gives up everyone runs past me into the trees. Never stopping. They catch up to me fast.

They turn and tie my arms and legs up with chains. “Leave the rest to run and hide we got what we came for,” Jacob says. The next thing I know is that someone hits me over the head. Before I black out I send a message to Eli, ‘your family is safe. Don’t worry about me I’ll be fine. I love you so much. They have me and I’m blacking out. I hope you read this. Don’t come after me. I mean it!’

Elizabeth’s P.O.V.

Why would he send me that message? He knows no matter what I will get him back. I stopped after probably a whole days of running. It’s twilight now. No one came after me instead they went after my mate so I’ve been told.

My father said that he became to tired to run and fell to the ground with exhausting. We were going to stop and help him ,but the army came. They panicked and ran. I start running back towards the house. Since this time I’m not running in zig zags trying to get away. I get back in a order of hours.

When I get there my family and Damien’s is waiting in the backyard. I run past them into the house shift and change into a pair of jeans and a red tee with red converse. I look in the mirror and run a brush through my hair. I go to my fathers office and to the speaker. I hit the button and take the microphone. “Every person in this building please go into the backyard right this minute. Thank you,” I say.

 I put the mic down and shut the button off and walk out. I go out into the backyard taking my time ,so when I get there everyone is there. I go to the stairs and up the balcony where my father is waiting to start the meeting.

He clears his throat and everybody quiets down and looks at us. “My daughter Elizabeth has called this meeting. Since she is next in line for alpha I want everyone to respect her just how you would to me.” He finishes and offers me the lead. I gladly walk forward and say, “you all know me. I’ve gotten to know you over the few months we have known each other. I have a favor to ask everyone.”

One person says, “anything.” Another says, “please ask.” So I go ahead and say, “my mate was taken from me by The Fire Pack.” Everybody gasps ,but mostly women. The Fire Pack has apparently been our enemy since my dad and Jacob’s dad were kids. There parents started a feud between the packs.

My father doesn’t know why the feud started ,but it did. Also they are pretty strong ,but we will be stronger if we collide packs. “I would like any wolf fighter who is at east 18 or over who will fight along side me and my father attacking the pack to get what is ours.” I say. My father tells me they have been kidnapping mates from people for a long time now. We have had 20 people go missing.

“If you would like to volunteer raise your hand. Also this battle will be hard. Lives will be lost,” I say. Immediately hands start going up. My father’s beta for now was first to raise his hand. When I met him I remembered him almost instantly because he’s like a uncle to me. He helped raise me and he stopped coming when my dad “died”. By the time everyone is done thinking theres a lot of hands and I can’t tell who.

“People who are not volunteering you may go. I will speak with all of you later.,” I say. All the women leave with there children and teenagers who are under 18 leave to knowing they were not able to volunteer. All the men stayed and the women who lost their mates to The Fire Pack.

“Okay everyone. We will be training for the attack for the next few weeks and making plans. Also I will not be here after this ceremony. I am going to talk to my mate’s pack to see if any of them will volunteer.” I say. Mu father comes up and says, “training will start tomorrow and that this meeting is closed.” Everyone disappears. I hug my dad and go through the balcony doors into my dad’s office.

Yeah, I know I could have just went through that door instead of going all the way downstairs. I go into my room in the house. Ya, I got a room. Of course I do so I can stay here. Which I will be for the next couple weeks. I go to my bag and put a extra pair of clothes in their and shed my clothes and shift.

This house is big enough for almost everyone to be in their wolf form all day. I take my bag in my teeth and walk back to my father’s office. He’s sitting at his desk. He nods for me to go through. I go outside and down the steps to the lawn. I start running towards Damien’s packs lands.

When I get there I go behind a tree and shift and get dressed. I go into the house and am greeted by his parents. I told them earlier what we would be doing. The meeting comes and goes with Damien’s father mostly talking ,but me occasionally.

I got at least 200 people out of that pack wanting there omega back.
