Nickname you Hate: N/Y/H
The sound of kids laughing and cheering was all I heard as I organized the medical supplies in the drop ship. I heard some kids argue back and forth about the wristbands. Some of them agreed to the taking off of the bands while others disagreed. I walked over to the seats on the far left and lifted the cushion up, finding some full containers. I took a box out from underneath the seat, bringing it over to the metal counter. I put the bandages, cloths, needle and thread, along with some other things and aligned them along the back of the counter. I organized them according to what they were used for.
I put my hands on hips, admiring my organization skills. I set the containers back into their rightful place. I wiped down the counter clean of dirt and grime. I dropped the cloth into the basket and made my way out of the drop ship, brining my backpack with me. As I walked down the stairs of the ship my eyes caught sight of Wells and John Murphy arguing. I rolled my eyes, setting my bag down next to the stairs. "Murphy!" I yelled, "Leave him alone." I earned a glance from the delinquents. Charlotte sat with a few other kids, her head turned to me at the sound of my voice. "Looks like N/Y/H finally speaks," Murphy retorted. "Don't call her that," Charlotte responded, clenching my fists. Charlotte ran over to me and stood beside me, taking my hand into hers.
"Oh! She's got a sidekick!"
I glanced to the right of Murphy and noticed Bellamy standing there wanting to see how this would play out. I lightly pushed Charlotte back so she stood beside Wells. He pulled my arm back, standing slightly in front of me. "Oh look Bellamy, she has a Knight n' Shining armor," Murphy continued to tease. I looked up at Wells, raising my eyebrows. "Who said she needed protection?" Murphy said, "I say let her fight me, see what she's really made out of." I put a hand on Wells' shoulder and motioned him to step away. Bellamy smirked and stepped forward.
"Fair fight," Bellamy handed me a knife. I glanced at it, feeling its metal handle in the palm of my hand. I looked back at Murphy, he narrowed his eyebrows. Wells continued to stare at me and shook his head. "I'm not asking you fight my battles," Wells said. "Yet, you do nothing," I countered. I turned back to Murphy and shrugged my shoulders. Wells grabbed Charlotte's arm and pulled her away. "You wanted a fight, right?" I said. He smirked evilly and stood his ground.
Murphy swung his fist, his knife brushed against my shoulder. Ignoring the pain, I swung my fist and punched Murphy. The kids around me cheered as I had finally got a hit at John Murphy. I heard Charlotte slightly laugh at Murphy's position. Murphy brought his leg out, sweeping it underneath my foot. My body fell to the floor, my shoulder hitting the dirt. "Y/N," Charlotte said, but Wells pulled her back. I reached my hand up and felt blood trailing down the side of my face. I gritted my teeth, sitting up.
Murphy pulled me up from the ground by my hair. He was about to punch me, but Clarke and the others came running in. "Murphy! What the hell!" Clarke yelled. "Murphy, let her go," Charlotte ordered. Murphy continued to hold my hair. I brought my non-injured arm up, colliding it with his wrist. He fell on his ass from the push. Clarke, Charlotte and Finn rushed over to me, helping me up from the ground. "Finn, Charlotte, take Y/N to the drop ship," Clarke said. "I'm fine," I said, "I want to hear what's going on."
Charlotte put a hand on my arm, standing in between Clarke and I. I looked over and noticed Octavia favoring the other leg over the other. I lightly pulled Finn's arm off of my own. He gave me a small smile before sitting on a rock from afar. Bellamy stood by his sister, helping her stand. Bellamy glanced at me with a slight look of worry. "Where's the food?" he asked. "We didn't make it to Mount Weather," Finn answered.
"Then what the hell happened?"
"We were attacked," Clarke said, still standing by my side.
"Attacked? By what?" Wells questioned from a far. "Not what. Who," Finn corrected, "It turns out when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last Grounder." I furrowed my eyebrows at the name. "It's true. Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong," Clarke stepped forward, "There are people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us." There were hushed whispers throughout the crowd as Clarke spoke. I looked around the group and realized that Jasper wasn't standing with us. "Where's Jasper?" I asked, looking back at my sister. "They took him," Clarke responded. I noticed that Wells' wristband was missing. I reached for his hand and let go of Char's arm, looking up at Wells. He grabbed my arm and pushed it away.
