We pushed multiple branches aside as we trekked towards Camp Jaha, Mel stayed by my side. The group and I heard the hustle from the people at the Camp. The guards on duty stayed by the front of the metal gate. Octavia helped Monroe walk towards the camp. "Open the gate!" Major Bryn yelled. The guards did as the woman ordered, rushing towards the entrance. The men pointed their weapons at us as we entered. Two men yanked the guns out of Bellamy's hands along with mine. The people of the Ark looked at the group and I as they did their orders. I saw my mother running towards the five of us. She noticed the side of my arm slightly bleeding. "Your shoulder," she said, softly. "It's okay," I replied, "I'll be fine." Mother saw Mel continuing to stand by my side, gripping my arm.

"This is Mel," I said, "Her and Monroe need medical attention." She nodded her head and ordered a women to take our two friends. Mel glanced at me and raised eyebrows. "You'll be fine, they'll help you," I reassured, she nodded and joined the woman and Monroe. "Where are the others?" my mother asked. "No survivors, lots of supplies," Bellamy informed. My mother glanced at me, I knew what she was thinking. "I already know," I responded, "There's no need to explain." My mother's face softened, soon realizing that I knew of her lies. I felt Bellamy's eyes on me, he set a hand on my shoulder. Without a clue, Clarke came running to us and wrapped her arms around Bellamy. He was hesitant at first, but soon accepted the hug. Clarke let go and looked over at me, her eyes lit up with joy.

I was taken aback at her strong grip on my body. I smiled, wrapping my arms around her as well. Clarke leaned back and set her hands on either side of my face. "You're alive," she sighed. "Alive and breathing," I replied, smiling. She lowered her hands and stepped back. Raven soon walked over to Clarke, standing beside her. I haven't seen her since the Grounder attack. She glanced at me, her smile growing. "How many are with you?" Bellamy asked. Raven looked at Clarke, waiting for a response. My sister kept searching through the three of us.

"Where's Finn?" she asked

"Looking for you," I answered

My mother stood in front of my sister and I, Bellamy stood behind us. I had gotten a couple of stiches done to patch up my wound from the metal arrow. Bellamy was nice enough to let me borrow his jacket. Major Bryn and another guard stood at the other end of the hallway, making sure we obeyed my mothers directions. Clarke and I continued to bicker with my mothers statements. "No, we can't just cut them loose," I said, shaking my head. Clarke looked back at me and nodded in agreement. "Girls, we don't have the manpower to send out two separate rescue missions and protect our camp," mother said. I scoffed and shook my head. I brought my hand up and ran my hands through my hair. "Mom, they're in trouble," said Clarke. "They're either going to get killed or make things worse with the Grounders," I said, "We need to get our people out of Mount Weather." My mother sighed, uncrossing her arms.

"I know you feel this is unfair," mother continued. "This whole thing is unfair, our friends are out there. In dangerous territory and you won't even think about going after them?" I retorted. Clarke pulled my arm back as I stepped forward. "Our priority has to be with Chancellor Kane," mother stated, "If there is any hope for peace."

"News flash, peace doesn't come when killing people," I countered, "You should've thought about that before you killed the Grounder that was going to help us." I glared at my mother as she spoke. "I'm sorry, the decisions have been made," she said, walking backwards. "You're sorry? Finn and Murphy are out there looking for your daughter with guns you gave us, and now she's home, you're just going to abandon them?" Bellamy said as he stepped forward.

"If you can't spare the guards, we know the terrain, we have a map. We can do it ourselves," I said. "No, absolutely not," Mother said. Clarke and I exchanged a look before looking back at your mother. "You're here with me," my mother spoke, "I just got you two back, I'm not willing to take that risk. You're just kids."
