The smell of rust and chemicals filled the air in the filtration center. Bellamy followed me down the hallway, looking around to make sure we weren't being followed. I hovered the key card over the reader, but nothing happened. I sighed then wiped the card on my sleeve to see if there was something on it. "Let's try another door," Bellamy said. I nodded and followed him down the concrete pathway. We passed multiple doors and other hallways. "Bellamy, Y/N, come in," Raven's voice erupted from the radio. "Yeah, we're a little busy here," Bellamy replied.

"You two missed check in, did you find the source of the acid fog?" she said. "We're making our way there now," Y/N responded, "It's taking a hell of a lot longer than we had planned." I followed Bellamy down another pathway. "I don't know enough to crack it on this end," Raven said, "You have to give me something." Bellamy glanced at me as we walked. "We're working on it," Bell said. I turned a corner, finding another door. I rushed over to it and grabbed the card. I hovered the it over the reader, but nothing happened. I wiped the bar code part on my sleeve. I pressed the card onto the device again. The little light on top of the reader turned red. Thinking it was working, I pressed on the door to get it open but nothing happened.

"Something's wrong," I said. Bellamy furrowed his eyebrows and turned to look at me. "What?" Raven inquired. "The key card isn't working," I answered, sighing. Bellamy raised his eyebrows in a surprised expression. "Is there another way in?" Bellamy asked, "We'll call you back." I slipped the card into my pocket and rested my hands on my hips, unsure of what to do.

The two of us heard the heavy metal door open up, four soldiers stormed through the doorway. "You two, stop right there!" the man yelled, "Hands in the air." I looked at Bellamy, giving him a look. Without hesitation, I bolted up the stairs with Bellamy following behind me. We encountered twists and turned, trying to escape the men that were following us.

"Now would be a good time to whip out one of those brilliant plans, Y/N/N!" Bellamy yelled. I sighed and shook my head. "Yeah, well at the moment my brain is kind of preoccupied with running for my life," I responded. We ran down the stairs, finally reaching the lower level. Bellamy grabbed my hand and brought me beside him. "You're surrounded!" one of the men yelled. The two of us hid behind the white wall as the soldiers inched closer.

"Shit," I muttered.

We heard the loud footsteps of one of the men, he had his gun pointed at the ground. Bellamy reached his hand out to grab the man. Before the solider could react, I grabbed the axe and hit the man in the head. Bellamy rushed to the soldier and grabbed the keycard from their pocket. The two of us rushed to the far door and pressed the card to the reader, a green light appeared.

Bellamy and I ran down the hallway, checking every five seconds to see if we were being followed. I gripped my gun as we ran down the hall. We soon approached Vincent's quarters. Bellamy knocked on the door repeatedly. Vincent swung the door open and motioned us to step inside. "Vincent," Bellamy greeted, "We need your help." Vincent nodded and closed the door behind us, Bellamy put an arm on my lower back as he lead me into the room. "It's all over the radio, they know about you two," Vincent informed, "Anyone see you come here?"

I sighed in a nervous tone, running my hands through my hair. I shook my head at his question and rested my hands on my hips. "No," I gulped, "We've been keeping in the vents and uh.... The uh.. Unmonitored halls." Bellamy stood beside me, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. He ran his hand on the side of my arm in a soothing motion. "Vincent," a man said, causing both me and Bellamy to whip our heads to the source of the voice. Bellamy pointed his gun at the man in uniform, but Vincent stopped him.

"Lee's with us," Vincent said. "Dante was like a father to me," Lee claimed. I put a hand on Bellamy's arm, motioning him to lower his weapon. "Where's Jasper, Monty, and Maya?" I asked.
