Night sky wrapped around Earth as it created a blanket of darkness. The bright silver stars spread across the sky with the moon sitting above the hills near camp. I knelt beside Raven and Jasper, helping them with the trip wire. Multiple delinquents followed Bellamy's orders. Some of the kids stood at their posts, looking around for any sign of the enemy. "Come on. These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves. Better hope those landmines work," said Bellamy, "All the gunpowder we're wasting, we could be making more grenades."
I let out a small laugh and shook my head. "You want to come over here and test one?" I joked, looking up at him. "Cute," he replied, "I need this entire section mined by morning. Then you finish the south field." Raven got up from the ground, pulling Bellamy by the arm. I patted Jasper on the shoulder as I got up to help another kid. A loud gun shot erupted from the front of the gate. I whipped my head towards the entrance, finding Sterling pointing his gun towards the sky.
Bellamy ran towards the boy in anger. "Hey! What the hell is the matter with you?" Bellamy yelled, getting in Sterling's face. "I'm sorry, man. I fell asleep," Sterling said, "I've been on watch all day." Sterling stared at Bellamy with a look of worry. "We've all been on watch all day! That bullet was one less dead grounder," Bellamy corrected, pointing a finger at Sterling's chest. I rushed over to Bellamy and pulled his arm away from Sterling. "Sterling, take a break," I said, "I'll take it from here." Sterling gave me a thankful look, I patted his shoulder and grabbed the gun from him.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Bellamy said so only I could hear. "I'm helping," I replied, "Stop being so controlling, you're scaring people."
"They should be scared!" he exclaimed, hopping down from the hill. "The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up! The Grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one!" Bellamy continued, "Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone, probably dead."
"Bellamy...." I trailed. He looked back at me and ignored my statement. "And if you want to be next, I can't stop you," he finished, "No guns leave this camp! This is the only thing keeping us alive! Get back to work!"

Myles laid on the makeshift, groaning in pain. I knelt beside him as I looked at his wound. I grabbed a damp cloth and lightly dabbed Myles' forehead. The suffering boy leaned into the touch of the towel, sighing in relief from the cool touch. "Okay," I sighed, "How're you doing Myles?" He looked at me with raised eyebrows. "Right," I said, "Probably not good." He slowly nodded, looking back at the ceiling. I got up from the ground and walked over to the counter. Bellamy stood at the table, scanning over the map we created. "How's he doing?" Bellamy asked. We had barely spoken since his outburst at the gate last night. I hadn't gotten much sleep last night, worrying too much about my sister. "You okay?" he said, probably noticing the bags underneath my eyes.
"Uh, yeah," I lied, "Myles is doing better, but the arrow is still infecting him." Bellamy nodded at me then glanced at the injured boy. "You can't get it out?" he inquired. "Nope," I shook my head, "I do not have the experience to do that, plus I'm not even sure how deep the arrow is. One pull and he could die."
"He could die either way," Bellamy said. "I want to help him as much as you do, but I'm not equipped to pull an arrow out," I said. I looked back at Myles who continued to moan in pain. I heard the two curtains of the drop ship move in the wind. Bellamy and I turned our heads at the movement. Jasper walked into the ship, his hand gripping a gun. I gave him a slight smile as he entered. "Y/N..." Myles groaned. I dropped what I was doing, rushing over to Myles' side.
"Help," he croaked, "Please...pull it out."
"Myles if I do that, you could die," I said, "I'm not sure how deep it is." He reached for my hand, gripping my wrist. "Please," he repeated. I looked back at Jasper and Bellamy who bickered back in forth. I groaned in frustration at the two boys arguing. I stood up from the ground, hands on my hips. "If you either of you actually care about our situation right now, why don't you two make yourselves useful," I said. Jasper and Bellamy looked at me, surprised at my outburst.
