The scene from yesterday played in my head over and over again, like a slideshow. Charlotte's apologies echoed through my mind, keeping me from sleeping. I tossed and turned all night. I opened my eyes and stared at the tent's ceiling. I rubbed my eyes, stretching slightly. The shouts of shock and confusion outside my tent interrupted my slumber. I groaned in frustration, getting up from my bed. I quickly slipped on my blue jacket then climbed out of my tent. It was pitch black outside, but the torches and moonlight lit the campsite. There was a cold crisp wind that hit me which caused me to zip my jacket. I saw the group of delinquents crowd around a particular spot. Octavia spotted me and rushed over to me, grabbing my hand. I favored my other foot as I followed her.

"What's going on?" I asked her. She answered my question by pointing up the starry sky. I noticed a small ship falling down to the Earth's ground, fire bursting from the bottom of it. "They're coming to help us," Jones said, "We can finally kick some Grounders ass." I smiled, figuring out my next chance to get in contact with Cass and my mother. The people around me cheered in response to Jones' exclamation. "Please tell me they brought some shampoo," Roma said, petting Bellamy's hair. I scoffed at her motion towards Bell, slightly jealous of what she was doing. Octavia noticed my reaction and nudged my shoulder. I looked back at her with raised eyebrows, she tilted her head towards her brother.

I narrowed my eyes, telling her to shut up. She let out a small laugh then brought her focus back to the falling ship. I glanced back at Bell once more and saw him staring at the ship intently. Bellamy ordered the group to retrieve back to their individual tents. He motioned the two girls beside him to go back to his tent. I continued to look at the small ship that was plummeting to the ground in flames. The rest of the group dispersed to their tents. Octavia set a hand on my arm, motioning me to follow her. The two of us entered the tent where a delinquent and Bellamy were.

"If it cleared the ridge it's probably near the lake," the boy said beside Bellamy. They both looked down at cream colored map that laid in front of them. "We should get a move on," Octavia said. "Everyone's ready," I added.

"No one's going anywhere," he countered. "What?" I responded, raising my eyebrows. "There are Grounders out there, and Clarke and Finn aren't here," He said, "We're not going while it's still dark outside, we'll leave at first light." I stepped in front of him before he could leave us.

"Everyone for a hundred miles saw this thing come down," I said, "The Grounders will get to it first! Bell, we need to get to it now."

"Y/N/N's right," O agreed, "If we don't get to it fast enough-"

"I said we'd wait till sunrise," he said. Bell pushed past me and Octavia, leaving Octavia and I pissed. I glanced back at her, she sighed and shook her head. She left the tent and walked over to her own. "I'll stay here and clean up," I said to the boy. He nodded and left the tent to retrieve to his.

I quickly grabbed the map, rolling it up. I rushed over to my tent and packed up a bag. I zipped up my sleeping bag so it looked like I was resting. I grabbed my bag and left camp. I made sure I wasn't being followed before I left to get to the ship before Bellamy Blake did.

The delinquents walked around camp, not really wanting to fall back asleep. Octavia rushed out of camp to find Y/N and Bellamy. Clarke and Finn arrived at camp a few minutes after. "Looks like everyone's up," Finn said, looking around. Fox walked up to the two of them with a smiling face. "Did you guys see that? You know it's from the Ark, right? It had to be," she said, grinning.

"Get your stuff, we'll find out," Clarke said. "Bellamy said we were going to wait till sunrise," corrected Fox. "Where is Bellamy?" Y/N's sister asked, looking around. Clarke rushed over to Bellamy's tent, but was rudely yelled at by the two girls from last night. "He took off a while ago," Roma informed.
