Henry's POV

Henry sat up in his bed. He through his blanket off and hopped up out of bead. He then tripped, in an effort to catch himself he grabbed the side of his dresser but brought a picture frame down with him. He hit the floor the the picture frame hit him on the head.

A groan came from behind him. "Damn... You just had to kick me."

Henry sat but and glared back at Lucky, "My parents offered you the couch!" He grabbed his picture frame and stood up and placed the picture down.

"I didn't want to stay, but that acid rain wasn't helpful." Lucky growled. He stood up from his palette in the floor. His hair was ratty and messy.

Henry chuckled, "I like the hair."

Lucky groaned and rolled his eyes, "Do you have a brush?"

Henry nodded and passed the white haired witch a brush. Henry then walked to the closet and pulled out a red shirt, black hoodie, jeans and a black beanie. "Imma go change." He headed to the door and turned the knob.

"Awe but who says I don't want to see that." Lucky laughed and winked obviously not being serious.

Henry's cheeks turned a light shade of pink. He grabbed a pillow from the floor and threw it at Lucky, "F*ck you!" He snapped he left the room and slammed the door.

He walked down the hallway, he then noticed that Hope's bedroom door was cracked open. He creaked the door open and could see Bristle sitting on the bed wearing Hope's favorite hoodie. He pushed the door all the way open and walked in, "Hey Bristle, why aren't you at the hospital."

Bristle looked up and shrugged, "As comforting as being with Hope is... It's also saddening see her just laying there...."

Henry nodded, "Thats why I can't stay the whole day.." He could see sadness glittering in Bristle's green eyes.

Bristle nodded, "Not to mention I was stuck there all night because of the acid storm..." She shuddered.

Henry felt a tinge if guilt for leaving Bristle all alone. His ears pricked to a floorboard creak. He looked behind him and saw Lucky standing there.

"Who is that?" Bristle narrowed her eyes.

"I'm Lucky" Henry noticed that his hair was back in its braid.

"Aka asshole." Henry sneered, "He walked me home after I left the hospital, and because of that acid storm he had to stay here."

"You forgot to leave out you had a panic attack or something..." Lucky pointed out.

Concern flashed in Bristle's eyes, "You had another one?"

Henry looked away, "It's fine... I'm use to the k get one at least everyday."

Bristle stood up, "Everyday! What keep reminding you!"

Henry could feel guilt bubbling up inside him. "You.... and seeing Hope..." he could feel the eyes of Bristle and Lucky on him. "Well I see Hope everyday and you a most 4 days a week..."

"You're Bristle aren't you?" Lucky said looking back at Bristle.

Bristle nodded. "Yeah. How'd you know."

"Henry told me about you on the way over here." Lucky turned back to Henry and placed his hand on Henry's shoulder. "Henry from what I've heard, you need to stop seeing your sister everyday if you wanna get better..."

Henry wrinkled his nose and slapped Lucky's hand away, "I will always be there for my sister! Nothing will stop me from seeing her!" He snapped.

"Not even your mental health?" Lucky said concern flashed in his blue eyes.

Henry paused, he blinked. He looked down at the floor, "Not even that! Now I'm going to go get changed so I can see my sister.."

He left the room and paused a light ringing started in his ears. He flattened his ears and closed his eyes. He waited until the ringing disappeared. He slipped over to his room. He slipped his shirt off and replaced it with the red shirt and hoodie. He fixed his beanie and slipped into the jeans. He walked to his shoes and picked out a pair of black shoes. He slipped them on and tied them. He stood up and heard the door crack.

"Henry.?"

"Bristle! I've made up my mind I'm going!" He snapped and whipped around and his heart stopped seeing no one there and his door shut tightly. "Man I think I might be going crazy..."

He walked out of his room and peaked back into Hope's room and could see Bristle and Lucky talking.

He walked in and looked at the two witches, "I'm heading out."

Bristle stood up. "I'm coming with you."

"Why?" Henry narrowed his eyes.

"Because I want to see Hope. The doctor says she could wake up soon!" Bristle said, she looked up at Lucky, "You should come with us!"

Henry tensed up. "No! No! No," he snapped. "I DONT WANT HIM TO COME WITH US."

"Your not the one who invited me. Bristle is, and I say yes. I'd be more then happy to come." Lucky said smugly.

Anger bubbled inside his gut, "Fine..." he snarled, "let's just get going."

-

Henry pushed the doors of the hospital open and could see a girl with short brown hair. "Renae?"

Renae turned around a bright smiled appeared on her face, "Henry!" She skipped over and gave him a quick hug. "Hey I've been meaning to ask you if we could hang out sometimes besides from in the hospital."

Henry nodded, "Yeah of course!"

"Hey Renae. How's Hope?" Bristle said pushing Henry aside.

"She's doing well. Though the doctors are worried that her stomach stab will cause her a lot of trouble. They're think her stomach might not fully heal..." Renae paused, "Well her internal stomach. But they won't know for sure until she wakes up and can describe her pain."

Bristle nodded uncertainty flickering in her eyes. "Oh Renae, meet Lucky. He's Henry's friend."

Henry growled, "He is not my friend."

"You're right. I'm his boyfriend." Lucky winked at Henry.

Henry hissed at Lucky, "Don't listen to his dumbass! He is not my boyfriend."

Renae chuckled, "Come on. Hope was moved to a different room, I'll show you." She turned and headed for the north hallway. Henry followed after Renae.

"So where should we hang out?" Henry asked looking at the brown haired witch.

"Maybe a walk through the market?" Renae asked, her yellow eyes meeting his.

Henry shrugged, "Sure, sounds great!"

Renae stopped in front of room 15. "Here." She turned the doorknob and pulled it out. She walked in with Henry close behind.
