Lucky's POV

Lucky blinked at Renae and Rosie, "What do you have to tell us?" He noticed that Henry and Bristle looked at their food, as if they knew what Renae and Rosie were talking about.

"Um. So. Rosie was in a different relationship before me. Well. A relationship she was forced to be in..." Renae started off.

"An arranged marriage..." Rosie put it simply.

"And while I was hanging out with Henry.. I got a call from Rosie telling me her parents had offered me to join the Emperors coven as a healer. Originally I was going to say no. So when I talked to her parents... Her mom offered me two options..." Renae paused.

Lucky looked at Henry then back to Renae and Rosie. "They offered her either to not join the coven and never talk to me again.... Or" Rosie looked away.

"Or join the coven and agree to marry Rosie..." Renae finished.

Lucky stared at Renae. "So you two are engaged?" He whispered.

"When will you guys get married?" Hope asked, Lucky could see from the corner of his eye, Hope's ears twitching.

"Once we turn eighteen." Renae looked down at her food.

"Henry you don't seem so shocked.." Hope pointed out, "Neither do you Bristle."

Lucky looked at his boyfriend. "Did you know already?"

Henry nodded, "I knew. I was there when it happened."

"And you didn't tell me!" Lucky snapped.

"I didn't because Renae asked me to keep it a secret. She said she wasn't even sure how her and Rosie worked yet." Henry defended himself.

The anger slowly drained from him. "Alright.. I guess that makes since."

"Bristle?" Hope stared at her girlfriend.

The pink haired witch didn't respond. But then Renae spoke "She knew. I came to her for some advice, I asked her not to tell you either."

Hope looked at Renae and sighed. "Alright." She pulled Bristle into a hug and kissed all over the pink haired witch's face while she struggled. Once she let her go she crossed her arms, "There. I think that's fair since you couldn't tell me."

Lucky couldn't hold in his laughter seeing Bristle a bright red, apparently everyone couldn't but Bristle and Hope.

-

Lucky stepped out and yawned, "I gotta get home. My mom needs me."  He leaned up and gave Henry a quick kiss.

"Alright see ya. Tell your mom I said hi." Henry smiled and gave a gentle wave.

Lucky nodded and waved bye to everyone else, he spun on his heel and headed down the street. It didn't take long to reach his house. He opened the door and quickly shut the door. "Mom I'm home!" He walked down the hall and poked his head in the living room where his mom was sleeping. He sighed and turned to his the kitchen and headed in.

He put his bag down and started on some supper. It didn't take very long. He placed the food on the table. He stood up and noticed his mom leaning against the doorframe.

"Lucky. You didn't have to cook." She said weakly.

Lucky walked over and helped his mother to the table, "You were asleep, I didn't wanna bug you. Besides it a simple dish." He shrugged.

"You didn't pick any for yourself." She pointed out.

He shrugged, "I just ate. Oh and Henry said hi."

His mother nodded, "That Henry boy is a nice one isn't he?"

Lucky stuffed his hands in his pockets and chuckled. "I guess you could say that."

"I'm glad you found him." She smiled.

"Mom you need to eat! I'm going to head on upstairs." His mother nodded, as he grabbed his bag. He started up the stairs, but stopped. Something's wrong... I can feel it... he looked towards the front door. He started down the stairs and could see his mom standing up looking tense.

"You feel it too?" She whispered.

"Yea I do.." he walked over and glanced around, "What do you think it is?"

His mother shook her head, "I don't know."

Pounding on the door made him flinch. He followed behind his mother as she made her way to the door. Carefully she opened it.

"Lucky!"

"Henry?" Lucky stared at him as he rushed in and hugged him. "What's going on!?"

"Rosie, Bristle! Their." He couldn't get the words out before he started crying. "I was so worried about you!"

"Henry! HENRY!" Lucky pulled him off and stared at him, "What is going on."

The golden eye cattie stared back. "Rosie and Bristle went to get something from a near by stand. It was close to Eda's. Me, Renae and Hope just stayed where we were while we waited. Next thing we know Luz is running over. She told us that some witch took Bristle and Rosie. Her and Eda tried to help but the witch got away. And then I was worried about you and I-" his golden eyes became watery. "I-"

Lucky pulled him into a hug, "Hey! It'll be okay. Rosie's parents are apart of the emperor's coven, and so is Renae! They'll find them!" He was trying to be calm.. but secretly he was panicking..
