Henry's POV

Henry looked up from his food and could see Hope poking around at her food. He glanced over at his mother who seemed to notice as well.

"Hope.. Is something wrong?" She asked, he could see concern in her eyes.

Hope shrugged. "I've just been thinking..." the silver haired cattie didn't take her eyes off her plate.

"About what? Everything has been perfect. Your's and Bristle's relationship is going strong. My arm and shoulder is nearly healed, me and Lucky are now dating." Henry said, staring at his sister. "And Renae has found someone who is her comfort buddy, who she refuses to tell us who they are." Henry groaned.

His mother nodded, "Everything's been going fine.. Like Henry said, it's perfect."

Hope stood up quickly and glared at Henry and their mother. "But it's not perfect!" She hissed. "That's what it seems like!"

Henry narrowed his eyes getting ticked. "Hope what are you talking about! Everything is fine!" He stood up and crossed his arms. "Lucky's dad is in jail. Our relationships are going well and Blitz is gone-"

"BUT WHERE!" Hope yelled. Henry blinked at his sister, not really expecting that outburst.

"What do you mean where?" Their mother asked glancing over at Henry and then back to Hope.

Hope looked on the verge of tears, "We know she's gone. But the emperor's coven said they haven't taken her in."

There was a long and uncomfortable silence between the two siblings and their mother. Henry watched Hope walk to the stairs and start up.

"Hope! You didn't eat!" Henry's mother called after his sister.

"IM NOT HUNGRY!" Hope yelled, Henry winced hearing the door slam.

Henry looked over at his mother, who laid her head on the table. Henry placed his hand on his mom's back but his mom pushed him away. "Just go Henry...... I just need to be alone for a bit..."

Henry felt a pang of pity, but it's not like he could do anything. "Alright..." he made his ways to the stairs and slipped up the stairs. He pulled out his scroll as he walked down the hall.

Hey.. You here? He typed and then sent it quickly.

He was quick to respond. Yea. What's wrong?

Henry smiled, but before typing a reply, he opened the door to his room. Slipping in he shut the door and made his way to his desk and sat down. I had a rough night..

Awe. Do you need me to come over? You know I will. Henry chuckled at Lucky's response.

Yea I do actually. Your mom wouldn't care would she?

Nah. She wouldn't care. As long as I let her know I'm coming.

Thanks.. I'll see you soon <3. Henry sent his scroll away and rolled over on his side and sighed.

Hearing his door open and rolled back over and could see Lucky standing in the hallway. "Hey Griffen." Henry smiled

Lucky shut the door and made his way over and sat down. "I didn't know Bristle was coming."

Henry blinked at Lucky. "I didn't know that either.. I guess Hope invited her over."

Henry watched as Lucky took his shoes off and laid down. "What's wrong with your mom?"

Henry let out a loud sigh. "Hope got upset about Blitz.. I tried to comfort her but she just told me to leave her be.."

Lucky laid his head down on his shoulder and sighed. "Everything will be fine.." Henry felt relief flood through her feeling his boyfriend squeeze his hand.

"How are you and your mom settling in?" He asked, wrapping his arm around Lucky.

"Well with her new job, she started dating this... witch named Max. He-" He cleared his throat, "They, seem to be really cool."

"Wait how do you know that Bristle is here?" He said looking at Lucky.

"I ran into her on the way here. We talked and made joke about you and Hope. But we mainly talked about who we think Renae's buddy is." Lucky shrugged.

Henry nodded, he looked away and sighed, "Are you ever scared of your father escaping?"

"No. My dad is incompetent. He can't do anything to save his life." Lucky snickered.

Henry didn't find it funny but he forced a laughter, "Yea.."

"Babe what's wrong.." Henry didn't dare meet Lucky's eyes.

"I just..." Henry held his breath for a moment. "Hope made the point that Blitz is still out there..."

Henry felt Lucky wrap his arms around him. "Oh Henry... It'll be okay. She'll be caught."

Henry nodded, "yea..." he leaned against him and sighed, "Thanks Lucky.."
