Hinata was trying hard not to stare at Yamaguchi. The orange-haired boy was very worried. Yamaguchi looked horrible, with bags underneath his eyes and he looked too pale. His breath was ragged and raspy. Hinata glanced over and saw Yamaguchi leaning against the window and then glanced away again.
No matter how he looked there was an air of...elegance around him.
Hinata stared, his eyes drinking in every detail. The way Yamaguchi's mouth was slightly agape in his sleep, so unlike the thin lines he pressed them into when he was awake. The way his green hair framed his face so imperfectly yet brought out his softness. Hinata absentmindedly reached over and brushed a few strands of hair out of Yamaguchi's face. His hand froze when he realized what he was doing.
He was crazy. Doing this...what if Yamaguchi woke up and pushed him away? He didn't think he could take that.
Hinata pulled his hand back and sighed. Suddenly something warm touched the back of his hand. He raised an eyebrow and looked down. Yamaguchi's warm hand was laying next to his on the seat. Hinata's smile returned and he looked up back at Yamaguchi. The green-haired boy was still sleeping. Hinata giggled quietly and then without thinking leaned on Yamaguchi.
His body was acting on his own, not that he was complaining. Hinata wanted to scramble away but at the same time, he never wanted to move again. He pondered his options for a second. Just as he was about to move away Yamaguchi shifted and his head switched from leaning on the window to leaning on top of Hinata's head. Hinata was shocked, not knowing what to do. Maybe he should wake up Yamaguchi. He went to shake Yamaguchi's arm, which he was clutching onto, when Yamaguchi's tired face popped back into his mind. Hinata sighed and then relaxed into Yamaguchi's arm, making himself comfortable. He tried to ignore the burning in his face.
Yamaguchi was warmer than Hinata had expected. Soon Hinata was also drifting away forgetting the face that their stop was coming up.
