Liu Yang's Pov:
Shing!
Behind her, the five cultivators had rose onto their feet and unsheathed their swords, except one of them who was holding a black flute menancingly.
The flute felt awfully familiar to Liu Yang (A/N: At this point, Liu Yang doesn't know the identity of WuXian yet). She vaguely remembers hearing of a myth that there was another man who used a flute for a weapon. But who was it?
She scoffed at the men over her shoulder, "Oh now you help? I almost forgot you five were here!"
Three out of the five of them ignored her, but at least the other two had a look of remorse on their faces.
The cultivators joined her sides. "You may leave this to us now, Ma'am. We're here to help." The green cultivator said to her.
Liu Yang grinned at him, "No thank you. I'm right where I belong."
In a flash, the group of drunken men attacked, entirely unfazed by the trained and very lethal cultivators.
The green cultivator deflected the attack by a man with a sword. While, WangJi's companion sent talismans towards another, immobilising him in order for WangJi to hit him with the hilt of his sword.
Liu Yang leapt up and sent a knee to a man's jaw. Without looking, she smacked the chest of another attacker.
While the cultivators took care of the other men, she directed her attention to the bastard who touched her.
She raised her fists up in front of her and smirked, "You shouldn't have touched me, bastard." She rushed towards him.
"Hya!" Jun Bing yelled and threw his fist forward, only for Liu Yang to deflect his attack and throw her own punches at his stomach.
Then, she yank his arm back and forced him to bend over. She jumped onto his back and hooked her knee around his neck.
Sitting on his shoulders now, she grabbed ahold of his ear lobes and swung her top body with great strength.
The momentum caused her and Jun Bing to wobble, and with the extra weight on his shoulders, the man lost his balance.
Liu Yang back flipped off Jun Bing at the last minute, as he came crashing down onto one of the tables, instantly breaking it in half upon impact.
Back on her feet again, Liu Yang panted heavily with her hands on her knees. Sweat beaded her brow as her heart pounded in her ears.
Someone patted her on her back, and she raised her fist.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I just wanted to tell you that your skills are incredible!"
WangJi's companion blurted out, then laughed awkwardly. When Liu Yang made no move to back down, he helped to lower her fist slowly.
A younger cultivator nodded, "Yes, Master Wei is right. But please don't engage with the attacker again, you could have endangered yourself." He smiled at Liu Yang.
Liu Yang gave a tight smile of her own. Her eyes widened as a there was a blur behind the cultivator, "Watch out!"
She shoved the cultivator aside and sent a swift kick into the last lackey's face. The man finally fell unconscious.
"Wow." Someone said.
Unfazed, Liu Yang bowed at the cultivators that sort of saved her life, "You're welcome."
