Dragons and Moonstone

Me and Draco split up after that, Ron spotted me while i tried drying myself off a bit by the doorway to the Inn and came up to me. As we where saying hello to each other I saw Draco over his shoulder talking to Krum, the Dumstrang boy who was chosen for the tournament. The teachers summoned some carriages to take us back to the school to avoid walking in the rain. Me and Ron got on and took a seat, we ended up with this girl called Lavender and her friend, we all stayed quiet for most of the ride.

Back at Hogwarts I followed Ron to the Gryffindor common room, where Harry and Hermione eventually came. When they came in Ron went to his dorm. I felt sorry for Ron, this whole arguement with Harry had made him a bit of a loner I think.

"Oh! Elena! Where did you end up?"

"I had some butterbeer with a friend and then met up with Ron for the way back, you?" Harry and Hermione looked at each other uncertainly, before Harry looked back at me.

"Hagrid, he's the magical creatures teacher if you didn't know, has asked me to meet him tonight at his cabin. I think he has something he needs to talk to us about."

"Why, what do you think it is?"

"I think it just be important, we have tea with him every other week so if it wasn't he would just tell it to me then right?" He looked to Hermione for reassurance who nodded in agreement.

"So you are going out tonight?"

"Yeah, we have to make sure and not get caught though."

"Why? He's a teacher isn't he? If your summoned by a teacher then don't you get a pass?"

"Hagrid isn't... the most respected of teachers. So no, not really." I thought for a moment.

"Wait, are you just telling me this or am I being invited to come?"

"I don't particularly want to go alone, and Hermione has a test tomorrow so she doesn't want to spend all night sneaking around."

"Yes well we ALL have this test tomorrow. But some of us just care about doing well on it more than others."

"Oh, is it the history test? I didn't think that was that big of a deal?" I asked.

"All tests are a big deal Elena!"

"Oh, okay, sorry. Yeah i'll go with you Harry." I agreed. We hung out in the common room for a couple of hours before going to dinner, and I spent the evening reading until everyone in my room was asleep. I got dressed quietly and snuck out. I realised Harry would probably be using that invisibility cloak and wondered how the hell I would find him. We where meant to meet at the door to outside.

After waiting for a minute I heard a whisper and turned. Harry poked his hand out of the cloak and waved. It was so weird to see a floating hand waving at you.

"Get under."

"I thought it couldn't fit more than one person."

"It couldn't fit you, me and hermione, but two is fine." I hid under it and we went out into the yard and eventually to a cabin. Harry knocked on the Cabin door and did the same wave thing to hagrid.

"Elena is here, a beauxbaton student I'm friends with. Don't worry she's cool." He commented.

"I suppose that won't be an issue." Hagrid considered and then ushered us into the woods.

"The woods? I thought we weren't meant to go into the woods?" I whispered

"I'm also not meant to be in this tournament." Couldn't argue with that. Hagrid met up with Madame Maxime, and i squirmed under the cloak. If she knew I was here I would have detention for the rest of the year.
