I felt a lot better after my nap in history of magic. I was wandering away from last lesson, not sure where I was heading yet when Draco came up to me.

"Hey Draco, what's up?"

"I hadn't seen you since Hogsmeade. I was uh..."

"Thank you." I interrupted as he struggled. He seemed suprised. "For the gift I mean, you where right I do like it." It dawned on him what I was talking about and he looked pleased with himself.

"Did you notice the snake? Get it? Because Slytherin?"

"I'm not a Slytherin." I said, pretending to not understand.

"No, no of course not, you don't even go to Hogwarts. But I'm Slytherin and the gift is from me so."

"I was joking Draco I get it."

"Yeah well I wanted you to remember who you got it from."

"I should repay you with a butterbeer sometime."

"Oh no it's fine, money isn't a problem." Well that was my attempt of asking him out shot down. Was it purposeful? Did he realise what I was trying to do and hopes I'll get the hint? Perhaps it just went over his head.

"Oh okay." Is all I could manage. I gulped. "I liked hanging out with you, I was trying to ask if we could do it again sometime." Oh god he was probably trying to give me a hint, I can fix this. "I don't really have many good friends here." I added, his head was turned away from me, looking out into the yard.

"There is a Quidditch match tomorrow, will you come watch?" He asked nonchalantly.

"Are you interested in Quidditch?"

"Yeah, you could say that." He chuckled as if this was an inside joke with himself, looking down at me.

"I've never really understood quidditch, what's the whole point in anyone else playing when catching the snitch is worth so much."

"That would be me. I'm the Slytherin Seeker. You could say I'm the most important player on the team you know." Totally boasting.

"Oh? Who are you up against?"

"Gryffindor."

"Anyone I might know of on that team?"

"No, I don't think so. Potter isn't playing this year since he's all wrapped up in his tournament, which takes a lot of the fun out of it. Still should be a good game though, plenty of other Gryffindors to beat."

"I suppose I don't need to be conflicted in who to support then. I'll see you up there."

"Be sure to cheer extra loudly for me, it's sometimes hard to hear when you're in the wind." He said cheekily.

"Oh, there may not be any point in cheering then if it's so hard to hear." He scoffed.

"Alright then, don't." I couldn't resist smiling, and he went off by himself.

Tuesday morning I sat at breakfast on Ravenclaw as usual.

"Hey Elena, want one?" I looked at what I was being offered, a badge that read Support Cedric Diggory - The Real Triwizard Champion.

"umm..." I started, trying to generate actual words.

"Wait wait look." He pressed it and the badge changes to Potter Stinks.

"I think I'll pass. Where did you even get these?"

"I don't know I was just passed a basket to spread around, probably the Hufflepuffs - they are pretty mad that Harry stole Cedrics glory. Protecting their own sort of thing."
