Chapter 12

Esme's POV

It was a Saturday morning and it was also Erianna's birthday as the Alpha's second daughter she also got the festivities and every other thing. Sadly I wasn't going to be around. The girls and I have 2 weeks to work on a project, a project we're not even sure of. I had my bath. Wore my highwaist, halftop and boots and ran downstairs for breakfast. I saw Erianna in the kitchen being all snuggly with my brother. They were always close but this was just weird. "Happy birthday Erianna and what is going on?" I was still unsure though.

"Thanks Esme. And it turns out, Ethan is my mate. I found out this morning when I woke up and he was staring at me. Long story." OMG, my brother looks so happy. He's been waiting for her for years now and he didn't know they were living under the same roof, awwwwwn. "I'm so happy for you guys really, I'm sorry, I wish I could attend your birthday. You know I got school project to work on. But I love you a lot sis. Congratulations" "it's fine Esme, I love you too, stay safe okay" she said making me smile. "Take care of her bro, I love you. Bye" with that I ran out of the house. Alley was already waiting for me.

"Sorry girl, you wouldn't believe Erianna and Ethan are mates. I was shocked, you know?" Alley's look was quite confusing she seemed happy and sad and I think I know why. "We'll find our mates, I assure you. Let's go". Our journey to the crescent Moon pack was quite chatty and we were laughing non stop.

We got to the pack's border and Danny was waiting for us there. "Hey Danny, your pack is amazing" Alley said greeting. "Thanks Alley, hey Esme". "Sup bitch." She chuckled. "C'mon, let's go in. Fania is already waiting". We walked in and started chit chatting again. Danny's house was really huge, it was just like mine but a little bit extra. The decor and everything else was perfect.

"I'll be back in a bit, I'll just go get Fania and some refreshments" Danny said as she scurried off. "I think I'll go look around" Alley said as she also scurried off. She shouldn't have gone anywhere, sadly I can't stop that girl. I walked for about 10 minutes and wondered where Danny was. I was already getting tired of walking to no where in particular.

As I walked around trying to find Daniella, I stumbled upon someone. I looked up and was met with his mysterious hazel eyes, he stared at me and couldn't utter a word. After seconds of silence he finally spoke up
"Mate"

What did he just say, "I'm sorry, what?" Asked again unsure of what was happening. "Mine, you're my mate Esme" he clarified. OMG I just found my mate, whoa, who is he though and how does he know my name. "Who are you, I mean what's your name" I need to tell the girls , I'm totally freaking out.

"Don't freak out. My name is Luciano, I'm the current Alpha of this pack and also Danny's older brother. I believe you're Esme" how on Earth does he know my name. Wait he's Danny's brother, where is Danny. "Yeah, how exactly do you know my name?". Just then Danny walks by. "I'm so sorry Esme I was trying to get Alley in check. I hope my brother isn't disturbing you, let's go to my room now" she was about dragging me away when her brother stopped her. "C'mon Danny, let me spend some time with my mate" he said and she stopped. "We need her... Wait, she's your mate" she squealed, jumping up and down.

"Yes Danny, she's my mate" he said smiling at me, making me blush. "Awwwn, Alley also found her mate. Turns out it's Stephan, Fania's brother. They are already chit-chatting. By the way Stephan came looking for you, but I guess you're both too busy for each other, I'll leave you two alone. Fania and I got work to do. Toodles" she said making me mentally scream. I'm so happy for Alley. But I got a lot to talk about with my mate. He started walking to his office and asked me to follow suit.

"So, tell me about yourself. I mean the things you like and don't like. Danny already told me the rest" huh, how? "Okay, I love chocolates, mangoes, snakes, martial arts, horror and action movies, biology, painting, cooking, ummm, I don't like snitches, I'm  allergic to pineapple, ummm, I guess that's all" I didn't know what else to say. "Hollup, you like snakes? Ohh wow" it's not that creepy. "Anything else?" I asked feeling all mush. "Yeah, are you ready to start living with me" whoa, well, he is my mate and I'm 18. Plus I could be going to school from here.

"Okay, but I got to tell my parents" he nodded in agreement.
